Apple Pie / Apfelkuchen: This Is How Easy My Grandmother Makes It. It’s Elegant and Delicious
Ingredients:
4 eggs
200g sugar (1 cup)
pinch of salt
1 vanilla bean
1 tspn baking powder
50ml cooking oil (3 tbsp + 1 tsp)
125g yoghurt (½ cup + 1 tbsp)
340g all-purpose flour
3-4 apples
butter for greasing the baking pan
Method:
As show in the video.
Bake 180°C / 356°F for 40 minutes on top shelf/bottom heat
Baking pan diameter: 21 cm x 29 cm

Grandma's Secret Recipe for Sourdough Pear Cake. An Old but Special Pastry!
Ingredients:
Dough:
20 grams of fresh yeast
100 g sugar (½ cup)
150 ml lukewarm milk (⅔ cup)
500 g flour (4 cups + 2 tbsp)
2 eggs
30 grams of butter
pinch of salt
Filling:
5 pears
5 tbsp raw sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
1 star anise
5 cloves
50 grams of butter
1 egg for brushing
powdered sugar [icing sugar]
Method:
As shown in video.
Bake: 180°C / 356°F 20 minutes on top/bottom heat

2 kg of beef
2 carrots
2/3 tbsp black pepper
1 tbsp salt
Oil
2 onions
1/2 celeriac
2 parsley roots [parsnips]
4 carrots
3 bay leaves
1 tsp allspice
1 teaspoon
black pepper
200 ml cream
1 tbsp raw sugar
1-2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
Dumplings:
20 grams of yeast
300ml milk
3 tbsp flour
1 tsp sugar
500g flour
1 egg
1 tsp salt
1 tbsp oil

Ingredients:
200ml lukewarm milk
20g yeast
3 tbsp flour
2 tbsp sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 eggs
pinch of salt
125g butter
470g flour
oil
Butter mixture:
50g butter
125g sugar
2 tbsp raw sugar for sprinkling
Method:
As shown in the video.
Bake: 180°C / 356°F for 30 min.

Ingredients:
500 g / 18 oz red cabbage
2 onions
2 bay leaves
4 cloves
1-2 sour apples [cooking apples - UK]
4 tablespoons goose fat
1 tablespoon of sugar
3 tbsp white wine vinegar
Salt
Pepper
300 ml / 1.25 cups of poultry broth
2 tsp cornstarch [cornflour (UK)]
2 tbsp currant jelly
