How Trump’s ICE Crackdown Is Breaking America: Living in the Shadow of the State.

Feb 3, 2026 | Across the United States, Trump’s expanded DHS and ICE enforcement is reshaping daily life—not through law and order, but through fear. In this video, we break down how warrantless arrests, masked federal agents, and aggressive immigration sweeps have triggered a public health crisis in Minnesota, driven people away from hospitals, and pushed entire communities into hiding. From pregnant patients afraid to seek care to doctors running underground home-visit networks, this is the real-world fallout of unchecked federal power. We also examine how protests are being met with military-style force, why international travelers are increasingly avoiding the US, and what it means for democracy when due process becomes optional. This isn’t just an immigration story—it’s a warning about what happens when fear replaces the rule of law.

El Pastificio de Nicola: Chicken Piccata – Italian Lemon Chicken with Capers — Piccata di pollo

Feb 2, 2026 | In this video, we prepare chicken piccata, known in Italian as piccata di pollo.

Thin chicken cutlets are lightly browned in butter and olive oil, then finished with a simple sauce made from white wine, lemon juice, and capers. A classic and elegant dish from Italian cuisine.

In Italy, piccata is traditionally served as a second course, after pasta, but outside Italy it also works perfectly as a main dish.

Epstein Files: Starmer Calls for Lord Mandelson to Be Stripped of Title

Feb 2, 2026 | He was nicknamed the “Prince of Darkness” for his reputation as a ruthless, behind-the-scenes fixer for New Labour. Now, Lord Mandelson has resigned from the party to save it "further embarrassment" after new revelations in the Epstein files.

This afternoon the government said it would support legislation to strip him of his peerage. Some MPs are also calling for police to investigate, after emails suggested he passed sensitive state information to the disgraced financier.

The Anglican Church has misread the zeitgeist yet again!

The Anglican Church is dying: it no longer inspires people to attend services. Churches across the country are therefore largely empty on Sunday mornings and evenings. Pews are sparsely filled.

By contrast, mosques across the country are often full to bursting. The population of Muslims in the country is much smaller, yet mosques are fuller, and often with relatively young men, too.

I believe that there is a good reason for this; and it is simple to understand. Islam is a muscular, masculine religion which appeals to virile young men. Modern Christianity, by contrast, no longer appeals to such young men because the religion has been feminized.

The feminization of the Church and its message has been underscored by the appointment, for the very first time, of a lady Archbishop of Canterbury. Whilst I wish the lady well, I doubt that her appointment will achieve the goal of filling the pews. At this time in the history of the Church, and of all times, the Church was crying out for a strong, male leader to inspire young men to attend services. In my opinion, the cues and the zeitgeist have been totally misread. — © Mark Alexander

Mandelson Should No Longer Be a Peer, Says Starmer

THE GUARDIAN: Emails from 2009 appear to show the then business secretary shared confidential UK tax plans with Jeffrey Epstein

Keir Starmer has demanded Peter Mandelson resign from the House of Lords and urged the upper chamber to modernise its disciplinary procedures to allow peers to be stripped of their titles.

The cabinet secretary, the UK’s most senior civil servant, will also investigate Mandelson’s actions as business secretary when Labour was last in power, after emails to Jeffrey Epstein about highly sensitive government policy emerged.

The documents released on Friday by the US Department of Justice also appear to show Mandelson, as business secretary in 2009, forwarded a confidential UK government document outlining £20bn in asset sales and outlining Labour’s tax policy plans. He also told the disgraced financier that he was “trying hard” to change government policy on bankers’ bonuses at his request.

Downing Street said Mandelson should testify before the US Congress inquiry into the Epstein files if he was called, after a further huge tranche of documents was released over the weekend. » | Jessica Elgot, Pippa Crerar and Emine Sinmaz | Monday, February 2, 2026

Son of Norway’s Crown Princess Arrested on New Charges before Start of Rape Trial

THE GUARDIAN: Marius Borg Høiby arrested on suspicion of assault and threats with knife as mother faces questions over Epstein

The son of Norway’s crown princess, Marius Borg Høiby, has been arrested on new charges just days before the start of his rape trial, as his mother continues to face questions over her relationship with Jeffrey Epstein.

The Oslo police district said Høiby had been arrested on Sunday evening on suspicion of assault, making threats with a knife and violating a restraining order.

The arrest came days before Høiby, 29, stands trial on charges of 38 offences including four counts of rape, the domestic abuse of a former partner and the illegal filming of a number of women without their knowledge or consent.

The trial is expected to start in Oslo on Tuesday and take place over seven weeks. Høiby has denied the most serious charges, including those of sexual abuse. » | Miranda Bryant, Nordic correspondent | Monday, February 2, 2026

Stocks, Gold and Oil Plunge in Market Rout

THE TELEGRAPH: Stocks, gold and oil have plunged in a global market rout driven by fears about AI spending and the outlook for interest rates.

Asian markets were pummelled and Wall Street was expected to open lower as a sell-off in precious metals fuelled a downturn across the world.

Gold was down as much as 7pc to nearly $4,400 an ounce, less than a week after hitting a record high close to $5,600. Silver plummeted by as much as 14pc to less than $72, having tipped above $120 for the first time last week. Oil was also down around 5pc to less than $66 a barrel.

Tim Waterer, chief market analyst at KCM Trade, said: “Traders are unnerved by the market tumult witnessed on Friday in precious metals.”

Gold and silver sold off sharply at the end of last week as a string of concerns swept the market, from Donald Trump’s trade war to the latest batch of tech earnings.

There were also questions over the outlook for US interest rates after President Trump nominated a Kevin Warsh to be the next chairman of the Federal Reserve. » | Chris Price | Monday, February 2, 2026

Noch größer als gedacht: Trump will gewaltiges Denkmal in Washington DC erbauen

BERLINER ZEITUNG: Der US-Präsident will offenbar einen 76 Meter hohen Triumphbogen errichten.

» | Sophie Barkey | Sonntag, 1. Februar 2026

The Heritage Foundation Just Revealed Their Plan — Here's What It Means

Jan 22, 2026 | The "Tradwife" aesthetic isn't just a TikTok trend—it's the marketing department for a very specific piece of legislation. While we watch influencers baking bread in slow motion, The Heritage Foundation has written an 80-page roadmap [en]titled "Saving America by Saving the Family" that aims to turn that soft aesthetic into hard law.

In this video, we peel back the "benevolent" language of the report to reveal the control mechanisms hiding in plain sight. From "Marriage Bootcamps" that replace economic safety nets to a legal framework for "biological essentialism," this isn't about saving families—it's about defining who gets to be one.
