Author Ayaan Hirsi Ali Sits Down with Andrew Bolt to Discuss the Israel-Hamas War

Oct 31, 2023 | Author and human rights activist Ayaan Hirsi Ali sits down with Sky News host Andrew Bolt to discuss the Israel-Hamas war, the worldwide eruption of pro-Palestine rallies and the rise of anti-Semitism.

Ms Ali says she is shocked but “not surprised” about the eruption of pro-Palestine and anti-Israel rallies across the globe.

“I spent the last 20 years talking about this and warning about this,” Ms Ali told Sky News host Andrew Bolt. “If we act on the belief system that Hamas subscribes to or that ISIS subscribes to or Al Qaeda … this is what you get. "These teachings … they don’t stay in the mosque, they come out into the streets.”

As most of you will surely know, I have written about the dangers of Islam here in the West. In fact, I warned of the dangers of the growth of Islam here in the West long before I wrote my book, The Dawning of a New Dark Age, and long before the Sptember 11th catastrophe in 2001. Here in Wales, many, many years before I wrote my book, I warned anyone and everyone that would listen that the growth of Islam here in the West was incompatible with democracy and freedom, incompatible with Western values. Alas, until 9/11, my warnings often fell on deaf ears. Once 9/11 happened, however, all that changed: people started listening, people becamse far more receptive to my message.

Unfortunately, however, politicians on both the left and the right — though, perhaps, mostly on the left — started introducing laws to shut people up. Speech here in the UK is far from being free anymore. People like Tony Blair introduced dangerous legislation to curtail freedom of speech, especially in order to protect minorities. As a result, discussion on immigration was for a long time swept under the carpet. There is the government narrative and woe betide anyone who deviates from it! When criticizing Islam, in particular, one has to walk on eggshells, both because of government legislation and also because of the hypersensitivity of Muslims themselves.

As a result of all this immigration, this country needs a written constitution – badly – just as America has one. The old British way of having an unwritten constitution is passé and totally and utterly inadequate for the needs of the modern world. I have stated this before. In fact, I wrote a comment in The Telegraph only recently on it, back in July of this year in fact. This is the comment I wrote:
This country is in dire need of a written constitution. In that constitution, there needs to be an amendment guaranteeing freedom of speech. So many new laws protecting this group and that have been introduced in recent years that it is very difficult for anyone these days to know what can or cannot be said at all without falling foul of the law. This state of affairs is totally and utterly unfair on the people of this country; moreover, in the long-run, it is also untenable. [July 2023]
I have also written about Islam and the West being immiscible. This immiscibility does not mean that Islam is bad and the West is good. No! That is NOT what I am saying. What I am saying is that Islam and the West, based as it is oin Judæo-Christian values, cannot be brought into total harmony with each other. This is because the objectives of the two ways of life are very different.

In the West, individuality is revered. Very highly revered! For all people, self-fulfilment is the ideal and the goal. So the self is very, very important to us. In Islam, things are quite, quite different. In Islam, the self (nafs) is to be subsumed into Allah's will. What you want is not important; what is important is what Allah wants! Allah's will overrides all desires. That is what Islam means. It means submission. (It does not mean peace!) And a Muslim is one who has submitted to the will of Allah. Therefore, once one has submitted to the will of Allah, all one's actions and all one's deeds are done to please Him, the Almighty, and Him alone, even if those actions and deeds are not pleasing to you, yourself!

So, without going any further at this point, ask yourself one simple question: How can a person with such a way of thinking be successfully integrated into the Western way of life? Do I exaggerate when I say that these two ways of life are immiscible? I think not!

Now it must be said that millions of Muslims do integrate successfully into the West. But the ones that do are often not the devout in faith, and are often nominal Muslims rather than pious ones. I would go as far as to say that the more religious a Muslim becomes, the greater the difficulties he/she will have integrating into the West. – © Mark Alexander

Panic Mode: Khizr Khan Deletes Law Firm Website That Specialized in Muslim Immigration

BREITBART.COM: Khizr Khan, the Muslim Gold Star father that Democrats and their allies media wide have been using to hammer GOP presidential nominee Donald J. Trump, has deleted his law firm’s website from the Internet.

This development is significant, as his website proved—as Breitbart News and others have reported—that he financially benefits from unfettered pay-to-play Muslim migration into America.

A snapshot of his now deleted website, as captured by the Wayback Machine which takes snapshots archiving various websites on the Internet, shows that as a lawyer he engages in procurement of EB5 immigration visas and other “Related Immigration Services.” » | Matthew Boyle | Tuesday, August 2, 2016

Mark Zuckerberg-backed Immigration Bill Would Allow Unlimited Muslim Immigration

BREITBART.COM: In January of 2015, a handful of Senators quietly introduced new legislation in Congress that would allow for virtually unlimited Muslim immigration into the United States – lifting caps entirely on several categories of visas favored by immigrants from Muslim countries.

The Mark Zuckerberg-backed legislation, S.153, is called the Immigration Innovation Act (or I-Squared), and it has taken on new significance following the terrorist attacks in San Bernardino. Those attacks were only possible due to Muslim immigration: Syed Farook is reportedly the child of Pakistani immigrants, and his jihadi bride, Tashfeen Malik, was reportedly born in Pakistan.

The I-Squared bill is significant for a second reason. One of the Senators who introduced the bill is also running for President: Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL). And several of Rubio’s most prominent financial backers are among the bill’s boosters. » | Julia Hahn | Washington D.C. | Sunday, December 13, 2015

Franklin Graham: 'Halt All Immigration of Muslims' From Terror Nations

NEWSMAX: Outraged at the slaughter of Ethiopian Christians by Islamic State (ISIS) militants, the son of famed evangelical preacher Billy Graham is demanding the United States "halt all immigration of Muslims" from any countries "that have active terrorist cells."

The Rev. Franklin Graham, who heads the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, also wants the government to take "immediate military action" to crush ISIS.

"We should make sure our government and the current administration recognizes Islam for the danger it is, and that they are doing all they can to work against it," Graham writes in a Facebook post Monday.

"Out [sic] government needs to immediately look at immigration reform to halt all immigration of Muslims from countries that have active terrorist cells — the threat this poses to our nation is huge and could end up costing thousands of lives in the future if we don’t act now."

He adds the second-most important thing the government must do is "take immediate military action to defeat ISIS." » | Cathy Burke | Monday, April 20, 2015

Geert Wilders to Spread Anti-Muslim Movement to UK

THE TELEGRAPH: Geert Wilders, the controversial anti-Muslim Dutch MP, has said he is forming an international alliance to spread his message to Britain and across the West in a bid to ban immigration from Islamic countries.

Mr Wilders will launch the movement late this year, initially in five countries: the US, Canada, Britain, France and Germany.

"The message, 'stop Islam, defend freedom,' is a message that's not only important for the Netherlands but for the whole free Western world," Mr Wilders said at the Dutch parliament.

Among the group's aims will be outlawing immigration from Islamic countries to the West and a ban on Islamic law.

Starting as a grass-roots movement, he hopes it eventually will produce its own lawmakers or influence other legislators.

Ayhan Tonca, a prominent spokesman for Dutch Muslims, said he feared Mr Wilders' message would fall on fertile ground in much of Europe, where anti-Islam sentiment has been swelling for years.

"So long as things are going badly with the economy, a lot of people always need a scapegoat," Mr Tonca said. "At the moment, that is the Muslims in Western Europe." >>> | Friday, July 16, 2010

Immigration Made America Strong - But It Threatens to Ruin Europe

MAIL ONLINE: Are Britain and Europe being swamped, overrun, defeated by a wave of mostly Muslim immigrants and their descendants? Or are Europe's ethnic problems the figment of a febrile political imagination - something created by racism, dishonesty and manipulation by extremist parties such as the BNP? Those are not the only two possibilities, of course, although a lot of people behave as if they are.

Both sides will take lots of fodder for their arguments from a study released last week by the highly reliable Pew Forum On Religion And Public Life. According to the report, there are now 1.6billion Muslims, a quarter of the world's population.

And they are distributed in surprising ways - there are more Muslims in Germany than in Lebanon, for example. Recent projections by the British Government show the population rising to 71 million within 20 years, due mainly to migration.

But Europe's (and Britain's) problems with Muslim migration are not mostly demographic. The Pew study shows the world's Christian population is growing too, to 2.25 billion.

It is possible, though, to have grave problems with immigration that do not involve either the wipe-out of a culture or the disappearance of a population.

Europe opened the door to mass immigration in the Fifties and discovered - as the United States did before it - that it is impossible to open that door just a fraction. Immigration, though intended as a solution to a short-term labour crisis, has become, without anyone particularly wanting it to be, a permanent feature of the landscape.

One of the most amazing statistics in the history of European immigration is that the number of foreign residents in Germany rose steadily between 1971 and 2000 - from three million to about 7.5million - but the number of employed foreigners did not budge. It stayed rock-steady at around two million.

Multi-ethnic societies can be good societies. But the transition puts a strain on institutions, on trust in government, and on a sense of identity.

Not every society makes that transition successfully. In my book, Reflections On The Revolution In Europe, I tried to describe how this process is working - or, more often, not working.

Revolution is not too strong a word. It well describes what occurred in America between 1840 and 1925, when millions of Catholic immigrants arrived, transforming a largely Protestant society.

The need to accommodate them made the United States replace one kind of society with another. We may like the result, but it would have been absurd to expect those born into pre-immigrant 19th Century America to rejoice at the disruption.

However, the transition has given America an edge in the present era of mass migrations. That is not America's only advantage, of course. The 'tone' of current US immigration is set by various Latin American cultures; that of European immigration is set by various Muslim cultures.

The cultural peculiarities of Latin-American immigrants generally appear to Americans as antiquated versions of their own. >>> Christopher Caldwell, Author of Reflection on the Revolution in Europe | Sunday, October 11, 2009

Big Brother Brown: The Terrible Price We Are Paying for Muslim Immigration. Not Even Hitler Had This Amount of Control

THE TELEGRAPH: The travel plans and personal details of every holidaymaker, business traveller and day-tripper who leaves Britain are to be tracked by the Government, the Daily Telegraph can disclose.

Anyone departing the UK by land, sea or air will have their trip recorded and stored on a database for a decade.

Passengers leaving every international sea port, station or airport will have to supply detailed personal information as well as their travel plans. So-called "booze crusiers" who cross the Channel for a couple of hours to stock up on wine, beer and cigarettes will be subject to the rules.

In addition, weekend sailors and sea fishermen will be caught by the system if they plan to travel to another country - or face the possibility of criminal prosecution.

The owners of light aircraft will also be brought under the system, known as e-borders, which will eventually track 250 million journeys annually.

Even swimmers attempting to cross the Channel and their support teams will be subject to the rules which will require the provision of travellers' personal information such as passport and credit card details, home and email addresses and exact travel plans. >>> By David Millward, Transport Editor | Friday, March 13, 2009

Islam: Cardinal Warns against Alienating Immigrants

Cardinal Jean-Pierre Ricard puts forward a logical argument, but unfortunately it is a false one. Second and third generation Muslim immigrants do not need the heavy hand of the state to alienate them from Western society; they already have their religion, their holy book, and their prophet to do that for them. The heavy hand of the state is not the cause of the alienation; rather, it is the result of it. Therein lies a big difference. - ©Mark

AKI: Brussels - Second and third generation Muslim immigrants in Europe risk serious alienation from the societies in which they live, France's Cardinal Jean-Pierre Ricard told a conference in Brussels on Tuesday. The youngsters suffer "a lack of success at school, unemployment, the feeling of not truly belonging or having a stake in the future," said Ricard, whose diocese covers the southwestern French city of Bordeaux.

Ricard argued that Islam may appear to offer young Muslims an identity and pride that their societies do not. He said the anger and violence they feel towards what they perceive as an unjust 'police state' (photo) can drive them into the arms of extremists.

"They risk being attracted by most conservative and anti-Western strands (of Islam), and Muslim communities can be tempted to form an anti-society," he said.

This can lead to "a radical rejection" of the West by Muslims and the resulting rejection of Muslims by non-Muslims in Europe, Ricard warned. >>> AKI | October 21, 2008

Europe’s Far-Right Revival Isn’t Nazism

LA TIMES: Much of the support for the right-wing parties springs from a resentment of long-ruling political elites.

Two far-right parties, the Austrian Freedom Party and the Movement for Austria's Future, managed to win 29% of the vote in Sunday's general elections in Austria. This is double what they got in the elections of 2006.

Both parties share the same attitudes toward immigrants, especially Muslims, and the European Union: a mixture of fear and loathing. Because the leaders of the two parties, Heinz-Christian Strache and Jorg Haider, can't stand each other, there is little chance of a far-right coalition actually taking power. Nonetheless, this is Adolf Hitler's native land, where Jews were once forced to scrub the streets of Vienna with toothbrushes before being deported and killed, so the result is disturbing. The question is: How disturbing?

Twenty-nine percent is about 15% more than populist right-wing parties usually get even in very good (for them) years in other European countries. Strache, leader of the Freedom Party, wants the government to create a new ministry to manage the deportation of immigrants. Muslims are openly disparaged by leaders of both parties. Haider once praised the employment practices of Hitler's Third Reich. Inevitably, the new rightists bring back memories of storm troopers and race laws.

Yet to see the rise of the Austrian right as a revival of Nazism would be a mistake. For one thing, neither party is advocating violence, even if some of their rhetoric might inspire it. For another, it seems to me that voters backing these far-right parties may be motivated less by ideology than by anxieties and resentments that are felt in many European countries, including ones with no Nazi tradition, such as the Netherlands and Denmark.

In Denmark, the hard-right Danish People's Party is the third-largest party in the country, with 25 parliamentary seats. Dutch populists such as Rita Verdonk, or Geert Wilders, who is driven by a paranoid fear of "Islamization," are putting the traditional political elites -- a combination of liberals, social democrats and Christian democrats -- under severe pressure.

And this is precisely the point. The biggest resentment among supporters of the right-wing parties in Europe these days is reserved not so much for immigrants as for political elites that, in the opinion of many, have been governing for too long in cozy coalitions, which appear to exist chiefly to protect vested interests. In Austria, even liberals admit that an endless succession of social democrat and Christian democrat governments has clogged the arteries of the political system. It has been difficult for smaller parties to penetrate what is seen as a bastion of political privilege. The same is true in the Netherlands, which has been governed for decades by the same middle-of-the-road parties, led by benevolent but rather paternalistic figures whose views about multiculturalism, tolerance and Europe were, until recently, rarely challenged.
