I warned of the dangers of Islam to the West many years before even 9/11. One of the biggest problems is Islam's insistence on there being no separation of politics and religion, no separation of mosque and state. I have said it before, many times, and I will say it again: oil and water simply do not mix. The real problem will never be solved because Western politicians and the Western mainstream media simply skirt around the real problem. – @ Mark Alexander

Brexit Negotiator Warns Donald Trump Poses 'Third Threat' to EU
Donald Trump and his chief strategist, Steve Bannon, are determined to break up the European Union, and are working to stage exit referendums in Berlin and Paris, Guy Verhofstadt, the European parliament’s chief Brexit negotiator, has said.
He claimed Trump represented the third threat to the EU alongside Vladimir Putin and Islamic extremism, adding that the US president’s call to organise the continent of Europe around national identity risked playing with fire. » | Patrick Winter, Diplomatic Editor | Monday, January 30, 2017

German Vice-Chancellor Accuses Saudi Arabia of Funding Islamic Extremism in the West
THE SUNDAY TELEGRAPH: In a highly unusual moment of a Western politician attacking a critical Arab ally, Sigmar Gabriel says the time has come to make it clear to Riyadh the time of looking away is over
The German vice-chancellor has publicly accused Saudi Arabia of financing Islamic extremism in the West and warned that it must stop.
Sigmar Gabriel said that the Saudi regime is funding extremist mosques and communities that pose a danger to public security.
“We have to make clear to the Saudis that the time of looking away is over,” Mr Gabriel told Bild am Sonntag newspaper in an interview.
“Wahhabi mosques all over the world are financed by Saudi Arabia. Many Islamists who are a threat to public safety come from these communities in Germany.”
The allegation that Saudi Arabia has funded mosques with links to Islamist terrorism in the West is not new. But it is highly unusual for a Western leader to speak out so directly against the West’s key Arab ally. » | Justin Huggler, Berlin | Sunday, December 6, 2015

Independent: Teach More Islam in UK Schools, Muhammad Had British Values
BREITBART.COM: The Independent newspaper has published an article claiming that more Islam should be taught in schools because the Islamic prophet, Muhammed, had “British values”. The article is written by a PhD student who claims she has “a lot” of “respect” for a leading UK Muslim Brotherhood activist.
The author, Sajda Khan, used to write for the Huffington Post, though many of her articles – all propaganda pieces about Islam – have now been “removed at the request of the author”. Ms. Khan – who once slammed UK think tank Civitas for attacking the idea of “jihad” – also has a different name to the one listed on her Huffington Post profile from 2012.
Her name was “Sahar” on the HuffPo, whereas she now goes by “Sajda”. She has denied changing her name, though admitted: “I began to write under a pseudonym but then resorted to my own name – because I didn’t see a need.”

Ms. Khan wrote for the Independent:
Simply put, the way to combat Islamic extremism is to invest in real Islamic teaching in British schools: teaching that proves the Prophet Mohammed would never have condoned their actions. But her article directly contradicts one she wrote for the Telegraph just 5 months ago, entitled: “British values won’t stop violent extremism”. She wrote: » | Breitbart London | Monday, November 2, 2015
Many reading this will find it difficult to stomach, but the Prophet Mohammed had British values. Those values of democracy, the rule of law, individual liberty, mutual respect, and tolerance of those of different faiths and beliefs that schools are now required to promote are inherently Islamic.

'Stop Messing with Australia and Its Society', Grand Mufti Hits Out at Islamic Extremism
Just a week ago a 15-year-old left the Parramatta mosque in Sydney's west and walked to the New South Wales police headquarters where he shot and killed a police employee.
With anti-Islam protests looming in several cities, the Grand Mufti of Australia, Dr Ibrahim Abu Mohamed, says violent extremism is a rare but serious problem.
Speaking through a translator, he says the root cause has to be examined and addressed by all Australians.
IBRAHIM ABU MOHAMED (translated): Number one, we say to those who supported that, stop messing with Australia and its society. Generally speaking and utterly, we refuse and reject any form of terrorist activities whether this, if it's proven to be a terrorist activity or any other one.
It is not just a religious problem that may have led to these things. It's a religious, ideological, social and other factors that may have contributed to this kind of motivation, and therefore any remedy should include all the factors, all the ingredients of this mix for us to have a proper remedy, not just focusing on the religious part of the story. David Cameron Launches Five-year Plan to Tackle Islamic Extremism in Britain
THE INDEPENDENT: 'It is an extreme doctrine subscribing to intolerant ideas'
Young Muslims are drawn to fundamentalist Islam in the same way young Germans were attracted to fascism in the 20th century, David Cameron will suggest today, as he sets out a five-year strategy to combat Isis-inspired radicalisation.
In a speech in Birmingham, Mr Cameron will say Islamic extremist ideology is based on the same intolerant ideas of “discrimination, sectarianism and segregation” that led to the rise of Hitler and that still exist in the far right.
He will also reject suggestions that Western foreign policy has contributed to the rise of Isis and its popularity among Muslim populations in the West, arguing that such extremism existed long before the Iraq war.
The Prime Minister will also announce details of a new drive to promote integration led by the Government’s “tsar” for troubled families, Louise Casey. This will include addressing issues around integration, language and employment and learning from “past mistakes” where government funding was “simply handed” over to “self-appointed ‘community leaders’” who “sometimes used it in a divisive way”.
Downing Street said Mr Cameron was determined to make tackling Islamic extremism in Britain a central priority over the next five years with a comprehensive strategy that involved not just the police and the criminal justice system but also “softer interventions” to tackle the root causes of radicalisation. » | Oliver Wright | Monday, July 20, 2015

Cameron Crackdown on 'Poisonous' Islamic Extremists Could See Mosques Closed Down
DAILY EXPRESS: DAVID Cameron has vowed to wage war against British Islamic extremism in a decisive first move by the new Conservative government.
The Prime Minister will act quickly to curb the powers of known hate preachers and terrorists - moves that were blocked by the Liberal Democrats.
Unshackled from coalition government, Mr Cameron has free rein to launch a much-anticipated crackdown on those who seek to brainwash British youngsters, warning against a "passively tolerant" society.
Among the options being considered is a ban on radical clerics mixing with vulnerable young muslims, introducing banning orders for organisations that use hate speech in public and powers to close premises – even mosques - where extremists meet.
Mr Cameron will meet with security chiefs to outline the plans, and is expected to include the measures in his majority government’s first Queen’s Speech on May 27. » | Tom Batchelor | Wednesday, May 13, 2015
