Russlands Präsident Wladimir Putin hat der Ukraine mit einer vollständigen militärischen Eroberung des Donbass gedroht, sollte Kiew seine Truppen nicht aus der Region abziehen. „Entweder wir befreien diese Gebiete mit Waffengewalt oder die ukrainischen Truppen verlassen diese Gebiete“, sagte Putin laut einem von Reuters zitierten Interviewausschnitt aus einem Gespräch mit dem indischen Sender India Today.

Il navigue désormais autour de 92 000 dollars.
Les particuliers qui se sont rués sur le bitcoin ces derniers mois dans l’espoir de gains mirifiques, encaissent des pertes violentes. « Un certain nombre attendaient une porte de sortie autour des 140 000 à 150 000 dollars », rappelle Nicolas Chéron, analyste indépendant. Half of Europeans See Trump as Enemy of Europe, Survey Finds
THE GUARDIAN: Nine-country poll finds half of people believe risk of war with Russia is high and three-quarters want to stay in EU
Nearly half of Europeans see Donald Trump as “an enemy of Europe”, rather more rate the risk of war with Russia as high and more than two-thirds believe their country would not be able to defend itself in the event of such a war, a survey has found.
The nine-country poll for the Paris-based European affairs debate platform Le Grand Continent also found that nearly three-quarters of respondents wanted their country to stay in the EU, with almost as many saying leaving the union had harmed the UK.
Jean-Yves Dormagen, a political science professor and founder of the polling agency Cluster17, said: “Europe is not only facing growing risks, it is also undergoing a transformation of its historical, geopolitical and political environment. The overall picture [of the survey] portrays a Europe that is anxious, that is deeply aware of its vulnerabilities and that is struggling to project itself positively into the future.”
The polling found that an average of 48% of people across the nine countries see Trump as an outright foe – ranging from highs of 62% in Belgium and 57% in France to lows of 37% in Croatia and 19% in Poland. » | Jon Henley, Europe correspondent | Thursday, December 4, 2025

King Charles Welcomes German President on First State Visit in 27 Years
BBC: King Charles, Queen Camilla and the Prince and Princess of Wales have welcomed the German president to the UK for a state visit.
President Frank-Walter Steinmeier and his wife Elke Budenbender landed at Heathrow airport on Wednesday morning and will receive an elaborate ceremonial reception in Windsor, beginning with a carriage ride to the castle.
It is the first German state visit in 27 years.
Such state visits are about projecting soft power and building relationships, and the three-day visit will see a mix of pageantry, politics and culture.
Events for the president will include a state banquet, speaking in Parliament, meeting the PM in Downing Street and visiting German footballers who play in the Premier League.
German flags are flying along Windsor High Street and the visitors will be given a formal welcoming ceremony and will view a military parade on the manicured lawns inside Windsor Castle.
