Volodymyr Zelenskyy due to Meet European Leaders for High-level Ukraine Talks | BBC News

Dec 8, 2025 | Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is meeting key European leaders in London on Monday, as Ukraine's allies plan their response to an ongoing US push for Kyiv to accept concessions in peace talks.

The leaders of France and Germany will join Zelenskyy and UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer at No 10 Downing Street as they seek to ensure any deal deters a future Russian attack.

The high-level meeting follows three days of talks in Florida, where Zelenskyy's chief negotiator pushed for changes to a White House plan widely considered to accommodate central Kremlin demands.

The US and Ukraine said there was progress but US President Donald Trump appeared to criticise Zelenskyy on Sunday, saying he "hasn't read" the draft.

Elon Musk Attacks Europe because He Doesn't Understand the EU

Tesla CEO and owner of X (Twitter) reacted angrily to a fine from the European Commission over transparency issues and rule breaches on the platform. Musk criticized the EU as overly bureaucratic and recently suggested it should be abolished. Either he doesn’t understand the EU or is just pretending not to.

Elon Musk certainly understands how to make money, but he doesn’t understand the EU. Moreover, he is a dangerous man who often talks tripe, especially when it comes to politics. Why else would he promote the growth of AfD in Germany, knowing its recent history? — © Mark Alexander

Can America Survive Donald Trump? Has He Made It Great Again? Or Is It Collapsing Under Trumpism?

Dec 8, 2025 | This video breaks down a growing narrative of fear, corruption, and democratic decay under Donald Trump, as described by critics who argue that the country is experiencing unprecedented division, institutional collapse, and erosion of rights. From hostile press briefings and contradictory drug policies to allegations of money laundering, foreign influence, authoritarian policing, and economic manipulation, the criticism paints a picture of a nation shaken from the inside out. As America’s global alliances falter and domestic tensions rise, critics argue the country is sliding toward authoritarianism—while supporters insist these accusations are exaggerated or politically-motivated.

This video isn’t about partisan cheerleading—it’s an examination of the perspective, fears, and warnings expressed by those who believe the U.S. is experiencing a profound crisis.

Trump’s ‘Make America Great Again’ is doublespeak for ‘Make America White Again’. Fact is, however, America never was white! Before white man imposed themselves on America, America belonged to various American Indian tribes; but never to white man, or as they are referred to in literary terms as “pale-face”! I think Trump and his MAGA movement should read a little about American history. It would help clear up their misconceptions. — © Mark Alexander

America’s New Doctrine: Europe on Its Own | David Dunn

Dec 5, 2025 | The newly released 2025 U.S. National Security Strategy signals a shift in Washington’s approach to Europe and NATO.

Aucune apparition publique, aucune photo, aucune déclaration.

Liz Truss Wants a Trump, MAGA-style Revolution In Britain

Dec 8, 2025 | Ex-PM Liz Truss has launched her own show [on YouTube], claiming it will accomplish two things: calling out media lies and promoting a MAGA-style revolution in Britain. Naturally, her first stop was GB News, where she faced no pushback at all.

Liz Truss is living proof of how low the Conservative Party has sunk! When I was growing up, the Conservative Party represented sensible politics and policies which glued the Kingdom together and did its best to UNITE the nations, making the Kingdom ONE and WHOLE. My, my! How the Party has destroyed itself! How far the Party has fallen!

Liz Truss’s brains must be scrambled! She was brought up in a committed socialist household. Then she saw some sense and became a Liberal Democrat, but wanted to get rid of the monarchy. Then she moderated her views and became a Conservative. But her sanity—if she ever had any!—was soon to disappear when, after that disastrous short stint—49 days—as Prime Minister, she started courting MAGA! Her thoughts resemble a roller coaster!

In her shoes, I should take the generous pension she gets but has certainly doesn’t deserve and laugh all the way to the bank, and then SHUT UP! Because there is only one thing we can be sure about when Liz Truss opens her mouth, and it is this: When she opens her mouth, we can be sure that she will come out with nonsense! — © Mark Alexander

Brexit Supporting Journalists Admit It's Been a 'Failure' | LBC

Dec 3, 2025 | James O'Brien turns your attention back to the European Union as he considers whether the 'winds of change are blowing in the face of Brexit'.

Tory peer Lord Finkelstein writes in The Times, 'Logical step for Labour is to reverse Brexit'. This comes as Leave supporting columnists admit that Brexit has been a 'failure' as a respected economic body say it has reduced the UK's GDP per person by 6%-8%.

James takes aim at the Brexit-supporting media and argues that 'Project Fear' was not extreme enough.

This is where schadenfreude should kick in! But feeling that would be more than a little mean. So I shall refrain from revelling in it. I am, however, very pleased that I am, and always have been, on the right side of history when it comes to Brexit. I was dead nuts AGAINST Brexit from the very start. I said then that Brexit was MADNESS, and MADNESS it has proved to be.

The only relevant question now is this: How the hell are we going to be able to extricate ourselves from this ridiculous, stupid, and suicidal move. — © Mark Alexander

Trump: EU ‘Bigger Threat’ to US than Russia

Dec 8, 2025 | “The national security strategy released last Thursday was a huge repudiation of the national security strategy that Trump put out eight years ago.”

Trump has moved away from his previous position that Russia is a revisionist power that seeks to undercut the American position, says former US ambassador to Ukraine Steven Pifer.

Dr Russell Razzaque, a Psychiatrist, Explains Trump's Fragile Ego & Why It's at the Core of Who He Is

Dec 6, 2025 | It is rare to meet anyone of adult age, let alone a world leader, with such a fragile ego. Yet that is central to who Donald Trump is.

In this video I explain why it's so fragile and what the implications of this are, not just for himself, but for all of us now too.

People often ask me in the comments, "what can we do about this?" Well, my answer is contained in a book I have written called "We The People". It is actually a novel, but in it is a clear message about where our current autocratic trajectory is taking us and what we can do to turn things around - not just by winning another election, but by deepening the very nature of our democracy itself. …

Kremlin Hails Trump’s National Security Strategy as Aligned with Russia’s Vision

THE GUARDIAN: Moscow welcomes White House document critical of the EU as talks to end the Ukraine war enter a key phase

The Kremlin has heaped praise on Donald Trump’s latest national security strategy, calling it an encouraging change of policy that largely aligns with Russian thinking.

The remarks follow the publication of a White House document on Friday that criticises the EU and says Europe is at risk of “civilisational erasure”, while making clear the US is keen to establish better relations with Russia.

“The adjustments that we see correspond in many ways to our vision,” the Kremlin spokesperson, Dmitry Peskov, said on Sunday. He welcomed signals that the Trump administration was “in favour of dialogue and building good relations”. He warned, however, that the supposed US “deep state” could try to sabotage Trump’s vision.

It came as the White House’s efforts to push through a peace deal in Ukraine enter a key phase. US officials claim they are in the final stage of reaching an agreement, but there is little sign that either Ukraine or Russia is willing to sign the framework deal drawn up by Trump’s negotiating team. » | Shaun Walker in Kyiv | Sunday, December 7, 2025

Dec 2, 2025 | For ten years, Eduard Habsburg has served as Hungary’s ambassador to the Holy See, representing his nation at the Vatican through moments of both agreement and tension. But what makes this ambassador stand out is his family name: he descends from the noble Habsburg dynasty that once ruled much of Europe.

In this exclusive interview with EWTN’s Colm Flynn, as he prepares to leave his post, Eduard speaks about what it’s like growing up with the Habsburg name and having a ready-made identity handed to you. He reflects on his years working at the heart of the Catholic Church, shares what he values most in life, and, after a decade in a defining role as ambassador, Colm asks him what he plans to do next.

'We Need to Be Prepared': Warning UK Should Be Ready for War by 2030

Dec 5, 2025 | Survivalist Ray Mears who has written about Britain's preparedness for war, speaks to Sky's Anna Jones and Kamali Melbourne.

"We've got megalomaniac autocratic leaders who are joining together to try to bring down democracy - everything we stand for".

"Putin is not in a very good place at the moment - and we know from history when people become desperate, they do crazy things," he adds.

Mears says the UK is not yet prepared for war and compulsory military service should have happened "years ago".

The Future of the Royal Family Is in Danger | The Daily Beast Podcast Clip

Dec 7, 2025 | British historian Andrew Lownie discusses with Joanna Coles how the stripping of the former Andrew Mountbatten Windsor’s titles may lead to the implosion of the royal family, how King Charles and Prince William will end up dealing with him, and what this all means for the younger/future generations of the family. Plus, the two talk about how the former Prince Andrew was treated like the favorite child and how Prince Phillip and Queen Elizabeth tried to rein in his bad behavior, leading to questions about how much of his bad behavior they knew about.
