Aug 25, 2025 | Der US-Ökonom Joseph Stiglitz bezeichnete die Politik von Donald Trump als kurzfristig schädlich und langfristig gefährlich für die USA. Zölle, Einwanderungsrestriktionen und Angriffe auf Universitäten untergraben laut Stiglitz die technologische Stärke, Soft Power und die Dienstleistungswirtschaft des Landes. Auch den jüngsten EU-USA-Handelsdeal kritisierte er als unausgewogen und eher PR-getrieben.
