Theresa May on Brexit, Saudi Arabia and Refugees
She's due to arrive in Saudi Arabia later - and is being urged to raise concerns over human rights.
The Prime Minister has defended her dealings with the Kingdom and says she will bring up the issue of Yemen, where the Saudi military is engaged in a long-running campaign.
The Prime Minister been speaking to our Political Editor, Faisal Islam.
,
It seems to me that Theresa May wants her cake and eat it. And chasing around the world, brown-nosing here and brown-nosing there is most unbecoming. She'd be far better off working with our European brothers and sisters than this. Our future should be in Europe, not the Middle East. – Mark

Germany Cracks Down on Salafists to Shield Refugees
But after long being perceived as dithering, German officials are cracking down with new resolve, as evidenced in a nationwide sweep against one Salafist group this past week, just days after the arrest of a high-profile imam.
The sudden vigilance has been propelled in part by increasing concern that the Salafists are trying to recruit among the hundreds of thousands of Muslim refugees who arrived a year ago, encouraging some to sign up for jihad in Syria and Iraq or to carry out attacks in Germany. » | Alison Smale | Saturday, November 19, 2016
