This Beheading Should Be a Seminal Moment in Our Tolerance of Islam

The gruesome beheading of one of our soldiers in a London street should be the final wake-up call for those who have been too slow to awaken from their slumbers. It should be plain for everyone to see by now that we are dealing with a force of darkness.

In my book, The Dawning of a New Dark Age, I warned in strong words that something would have to be done to keep Westerners safe from the danger that is Islam. Many might have thought that my words were alarmist. Today’s beheading in Woolwich, London proves them wrong. I have been vindicated.

It is difficult for Westerners who have to toil long and hard to put food on the table for their family to comprehend that there is a ‘culture’ out there which is hell bent on destroying the West, destroying all we stand for. But this happens to be the case. Alas, not all people in this world share our benign values.

I realise full well that the West has a history of its own which showed we could commit heinous crimes in the name of religion. But that was centuries ago. That was then; this is now. We have grown up; they have not. We have become enlightened; they still live in darkness. They are benighted.

Our politicians and leaders of all kinds have been unwilling, reluctant in the extreme, to come to terms with the fact that in Islam we are dealing with such a force of darkness: extreme darkness, in fact.

Islam is a religion which is aggressive and conquering. It brainwashes its adherents. It believes that all the world belongs to Allah and his final messenger; and that it is theirs for the taking. These people will never understand the concept of ‘living and letting live.’ They will never co-exist with Westerners. It is their stated aim to take over the West. It is their stated aim to make the whole world submit to Allah, who they believe to be the one true god.

Muslims divide the world into two: The ‘House of Islam’ (Dar ul Islam) and the ‘House of War’ (Dar ul Harb). We inhabit the ‘House of War.’ Therefore, we have to be conquered and brought into the ‘House of Islam.’ To them, until this happens, until we are conquered, they will be in a constant state of war with us. This tragic beheading today is but one dreadful manifestation of their way of thinking.

Our leaders, our politicians, our establishment will have you believe that there is a difference between Islam and ‘Islamism.’ They mislead you. ‘Islamism’ is a term made up by Westerners for Westerners, in order to lull them into a false sense of security, and to let our weak politicians off the hook. An ‘Islamist’ is a person who is intent on living according to the strict guidelines of Islam. He/she is a devout follower of their prophet. When Westerners refer to ‘moderate Muslims,' they refer to nominal Muslims, or people who are Muslims only in name, Muslims who do not take their religion very seriously. They are not devout. And in the eyes of devout Muslims, these 'moderate Muslims' have fallen by the wayside.

We are going to have to come to terms with this if we are ever to get a handle on the huge problem that we face with Islam. The sad fact is that because our leaders are so reluctant to come to terms with reality, innocent people are being placed in great danger in their own countries. This poor soldier today is a very sad case in point.

The MSM will not help you, because they are more concerned with being politically correct than they are with keeping you and me in safety. This is the sad reality of the Western world that we live in today.

It is high time that we had a reality check in the West. We need to stiffen our resolve to combat this threat to our safety, we need to stiffen our resolve to keep the West western. We have our values too; and barbarism is not one of them. We are better than that. We are civilised. Let us keep it that way. This is what I say: Whatever needs to be done to rid the West of this cancer, it has to be done. Time is not on our side. We have already been infiltrated. So what are we going to do about it?

Islam: The West’s Headache

Isn’t it true to say that Islam is the cause of most of our problems today? Isn’t it true to say that Islam is the cause of our headache? Isn’t it true to say that Islam is not compatible with democracy and freedom? And isn't it true to say that if things go on as they are, we’ll end up with neither democracy nor freedom?

Islam is in the West not to integrate and accept our way of life; rather, it is here to supplant our way of life with theirs. That means to say, replace the rule of law with the rule of Allah: Shariah law.

Our politicians refuse to face reality; they refuse to stand up for Judeo-Christian, or humanitarian values, they refuse to stand up for our way of life, for our liberty which has been hard won.

We are in danger of allowing Islam to take us back to a New Dark Age, and all because our so-called leaders lack the will, determination, and courage to turn back the forces of darkness.

This movement to turn the clock back in the West, nay in the world, is gaining momentum, and something will have to be done about it. We cannot go on ignoring the problems caused by Islam for much longer. Already our freedoms are being eroded; and they will continue to be eroded if we don’t bite the bullet.

These are troubling times indeed. The growth of Islam in the West must be halted. Ask yourselves one simple question: Can we really afford to have all these Muslims here in the West? The cost of security alone is mind-boggling. And our security bills are soaring for one simple reason: Muslims cannot be trusted to behave responsibly.

Western leaders have been shamefully craven: they have not stood up for our own superior way of life; rather, they have preferred to turn a blind eye and allow the primitive forces of darkness to grow and grow here in the free world, and thereby alow our liberty to be eroded in the short-term and altogether threatened in the long-term.

Without wanting to sound alarmist, it really is five to midnight. Drastic action needs to be taken if the West is to be saved. If we wish to bequeath our free way of life to future generations, then Islam must be stopped in its tracks – whatever the price. We cannot appease our way out of this predicament. We have two choices: Either we fight for what we believe in, and take all necessary action, however unsavoury, or else we have to resign ourselves to living in submission to Allah, and accept Muhammad as his final messenger. There is no third way.

A Rude Awakening

At last, the mainstream media are beginning to recognise that Europeans have a dark, bleak future. Bat Ye’or has written much about Eurabia, warning us all of impending danger. I have written The Dawning of a New Dark Age. Many others have written, too, and have warned. Robert Spencer of Jihad Watch springs immediately to mind.

Alas, the powers that be, hitherto, have been unwilling to take the tough measures necessary to stop this trend of increasing Islamisation. Not only that, they have made matters far worse than they need be by allowing mass immigration from mainly Muslim countries, and giving in to Muslims’ demands at every turn so as to appease the Muslim voters and garner more votes for their party. This is particularly true of the Labour Party in the United Kingdom. Again, we see the leftist, socialist agenda kicking in to destroy our way of life.

Working women have little time to have babies, and when they do have them, it is usually late in life, allowing time for one or two babies at most.

In our warped Western way of life, these days a woman being able to climb the career ladder is far more important for society than a woman who elects to stay home and be a full-time, caring mother. The result of these mistaken choices are beginning to become plain to see: We are losing our Judeo-Christian civilisation to the Islamic world. What Muslims once failed to do by force, they are now doing by silent invasion; and Westerners are sitting back and allowing this to happen.

A civilisation which is unprepared to fight for what it believes in is destined to perish; and perish Western civilisation will unless this whole process is kicked into reverse. The process can be reversed. But the will has to be there. The will and the determination.

Surely people can by now see what life will be like for us and our children when Islam becomes dominant. Women will become second class citizens. Gays will be executed. Apostasy will be punishable by death. Christians and Jews will be given dhimmi status, i.e. will become protected citizens in return for the price of a punitive tax called the jizyah. Adherents to all other religions, i.e. those who are not ‘People of the Book’, will not be tolerated.

Sharia law will be introduced, and henceforward, the whole gamut of harsh punishments for transgressions, minor and major, will be utilised: stonings for adultery, beheadings for crime, amputations for theft. Of course, because of the changing mentality of the people, honour-killings for women who bring shame on the family will become ever more commonplace.

What many Westerners fail to understand is this: There is no such thing as Islam-lite. Islam remains as Islam always was: unchanging and unchangeable; strict and harsh; supremacist and domineering.

We, all of us, have tough decisions to make about our children’s future. Do we want to leave a world behind for them which will enable them to live as we have been able to live: in freedom and security, free from religious harassment? Or do we want to cast all fate to the wind and let the chips fall for them where they may?

It is to be hoped that we will all opt for the former; after all, it’s the only sensible, responsible option.

A New World Order

This essay was first published here on June 27, 2008. In view of the tumultuous events that have happened in the world economy since that time, I thought it was time to re-publish the essay: - Mark
The West isn’t working. This world order isn’t working, either. It’s time for a change. If the West wants to survive, then things will have to change. The way things are going on, the West will be on its knees in a short time, and in short order. At the moment, everything revolves around the Middle East, and around Middle Eastern money and oil, and around Middle Eastern influence.

The culture and ‘civilisation’ of the Middle East is diametrically-opposed to our own; but Middle Eastern petrodollars are being used to buy power and influence here in the West. Therefore, if we wish to preserve our civilisation, if we wish to preserve our way of life, we need change. The claptrap coming out of the White House, the claptrap coming out of Number 10, the claptrap coming out of the Foreign Office is not helpful to the preservation of freedom, liberty, and democracy.

The people at the top are like junkies – they are addicted to Middle Eastern money. They don’t call those people potentates for nothing! It is a sad fact of life in the twenty-first century that our leaders are far more interested in making money than they are in preserving our civilisation.

We have got to the point in which it is far more important to earn a fast buck than it is to re-affirm our commitment to the Judeo-Christian culture which has served us so well - a culture which has brought us civilisation, compassion, liberty, dignity, and justice. Islam, with its barbaric practices of beheading, amputation, lapidation, whipping, and torture doesn’t come anywhere close to Judeo-Christian civilisation. Indeed, it is light years away!

President Bush dreamed of bringing democracy to Iraq, nay, to the Middle East. He has been living in ‘cloud cuckoo land’! As has his partner: Tony Blair. Islam and democracy just don’t mix. A fool would have known this. Apparently, neither the White House nor Number 10 did!

Today, Tony Blair left office. He no longer resides at 10 Downing Street. He is no longer the prime minister of Great Britain. Mercifully! In ten years at the helm, Tony Blair has inflicted a lot of damage on Great Britain. Much of that damage is in the loss of democracy, to say nothing of the uncontrolled borders.

It would appear that the West is being driven by the petrodollars of the Middle East. The tail is wagging the dog! And while this state of affairs exists, there will be no good outcome. No good outcome at all! Inherent in capitalism is greed. Greed is no good principle on which to steer our economy, to say nothing of our civilisation. Now that is not to say that I think that capitalism is bad; it isn’t. But unbridled capitalism needs to be reined in if we wish our freedoms and liberty to proliferate.

Osama bin Laden accuses the United States of being “a paper tiger”. It would appear that there is much truth in this description of our friends’ country; especially since President Bush has run that wonderful country. Why do I say this? Because it has been impotent in stopping the growth of Islam in America, and therefore impotent in helping stop the growth of Islam in the West, because it has failed to stop the influence of Wahhabism in America, and it has failed miserably to stop the uncontrolled growth of Salafism in the States, too. Indeed, in the past ten years, Islam has grown apace in the US, in the UK, and in the West in general. The power and influence of Muslims and the Middle East is at a frighteningly high level! And all the while democracy has been weakened at home.

It is no good trying to bring democracy to another part of the world – a part of the world which can never be democratised while the prophet Muhammad is the people’s guide – and it is no good trying to change the nature of a people, either. The nature of a people depends on the philosophy which guides them. Islam guides Middle Easterners; so, as Islam and democracy are diametrically-opposed, there is little point in trying to bring democracy to that region. For democracy to flourish, the sine qua non is that there be a separation of the temporal from the sacred, a separation of politics and religion. Without that separation, there is absolutely no hope of establishing a democracy. None at all! No, democracy cannot exist without a separation of church, or mosque, and state. It is impossible! What Bush and Blair embarked on could be labelled “mission impossible”! For mission impossible it most certainly was. Here we are, several years later, and nothing, absolutely nothing, has been achieved; and nor will anything be achieved in the future, either. From nothing, comes nothing!

But what bothers me most is this: We are destroying the life we have grown to love and respect. Corruption abounds. Billions of dollars, billions of pounds, are paid to the potentates of the Middle East. Politicians in the West are reluctant to uphold the status quo for fear of upsetting their paymasters. They are also worried that they will not get the lucrative deals after they leave office that they might if they spill the beans. All quite understandable, of course; but all quite disgusting all the same.

If the West is to survive in its present form, if the West is to remain whole and free – and with the number of immigrants that have entered the West, that is a big question! – the West has to sever the umbilical cord which binds us to Middle Eastern oil, which binds us to Middle Eastern funds, which binds us to Middle Eastern influence. Sucking up to Saudis just won’t cut the mustard. We will have to break loose!

There is no other way for the survival of the West, there is no other way for the perpetuation of freedom and liberty and no other way to ensure the dignity of man. If Islam wins the day – which, as things are going at the moment, it most certainly will – then we all have dark daysto look forward to. There is no other way: This world order isn’t working. It’s ‘broke’. And when something is broken, it needs to be fixed. It’s time for a new world order. Now!

Hedonists, Muslims, Masters and Slaves

It should be obvious to all thinking men and women that the West is in a battle for survival. Unfortunately, there are far too few people around who understand the problem. There are even fewer people around willing to do anything about it. This is the sadness of our time.

There is so much glib talk about the West being democratic. As the years go by, there is increasing evidence that the West is losing its democracy, since important decisions are being made, without the least consultation with the people, without the least consultation with the voters who have put the politicians in power. In fact, it seems to me that most politicians are abusing the powers that they have been given. And let’s not forget this: They have been given power to safeguard our freedoms. Yet each and every day we can read of this being banned and that being outlawed.

To heap coals on the fire, many Westerners have become hedonists. So many people today care far more about the pleasures of life, the second home, the second or third car, the multiple foreign holidays per annum, but pay scant regard for what is going on politically in their countries. The representative who gets their vote is often the representative who is the most handsome, or the one who will give them the best tax break. They want more of everything; yet they are willing to give up nothing.

But it is a fact of life that there are times when, in the interests of survival, people have to sacrifice. The Second World War was a case in point. Without sacrifice, that war would never have been won, and the ideology of National Socialism would never have been beaten.

At present, we have another ideology trying to destroy our civilization. Its name is Islam. Yet the best that our leaders can do is kow-tow to Muslims, the best thing they can do is give in to their every wish and demand. It’s easier that way. It involves far less courage, and in the short-term, it involves far less sacrifice. But don’t be fooled, ladies and gentleman. The sacrifice will come, as sure as night follows day. We will have to sacrifice our culture, for in the long-term, our civilization will be subsumed by an Islamic ‘civilization.’

One of the problems is this: Westerners have become far too hedonistic, whereas Muslims are willing and able and ready to fight for their cause. And what is that cause? To turn Dar ul harb’, the ‘House of War’, into Dar ul Islam, or the ‘House of Islam.’ They are determined to achieve their goals; we should be equally as determined to thwart their efforts. But we seem not to be. We are busy giving in to their demands, for it must be said that our leaders show every sign of being jelly-bellied in the face of Islam. They lack courage, lack insight and lack any basic understanding of the nature of the problem, and they certainly lack the determination to stop the rot.

In many ways, Muslims are cleverer than we are. They will not give in. They are also far, far more committed to their religion than Westerners are to Christianity. Theirs is a supremacist ideology; our current ideology if we can grace it with such a name is self-deprecating. We make excuses for ourselves at each and every turn.

No war was ever won that way!

President Bush has a lot to answer for, as does the erstwhile prime minister of Great Britain, Tony Blair. Both have shown themselves to be pussies rather than lions, both have shown themselves to be inept.

How, for example, could a war in Iraq be justified when most of the 9/11 attackers came from Saudi Arabia? Did it make any sense to invade Iraq rather than Saudi Arabia? Did it make any sense to make the Iraqis suffer for the wrongdoing of the Saudis?

But the invasion of Saudi Arabia was never a realistic option for President Bush and Prime Minister Blair, since the US and the UK have a master-slave relationship with the desert kingdom. We are the slaves, and they are the masters!

The latest comments by the US Ambassador to Saudi Arabia show just how weak President Bush and his administration truly are. It is disgraceful that Bush can fawn over the Saudis and Muslims as he does, when it was they who have wreaked havoc with freedom ever since 9/11, it is they who have brought a pall over life in the West ever since that fateful, egregious day, and it is they who fund the spread of Wahhabism in the West.

President Bush ought to feel ashamed of himself. He tried to bring democracy to Iraq, to a part of the world where it was not wanted, in the naïve belief that all people want the same thing, yet all the while our freedoms and liberties have been eroded here at home, both in the US and in the rest of the West by our leaders' craven behaviour.

History will not be kind either to Bush or Blair or any other politicians who fail to recognize the dangers we face, and who fail to take the necessary measures to safeguard our liberties and our civilization. For it has been under their watch that Islam has grown so strong in the midst of our Judeo-Christian civilization, not under anybody else’s.

Soft thinkers are inclined to think that all will be well, and that nothing can happen to our beloved democracies. They would do well to remember just how easily the Soviet Union was toppled. What happened there can also happen here.

When President Bush retires in 2008, he will have plenty of time to ruminate on his mistakes. If he has any conscience at all, the best he can hope for is loss of sleep. I feel sure that Blair already is losing his!

Hedonists, slavish acceptance and adherence to mythical concepts such as Islam being a religion of peace, something which Bush is apt to state over and over, will do nothing to safeguard our civilization. Merely stating something over and over, ad nauseam, does not make it true.

President Bush is well on the way to making slaves of us all! Dear readers, wake up from those reveries! Hedonism and weakness never won any war. This is a war to the death. It behoves us not to forget the story of the fall of Rome.
