Pauline Hanson Tells Queensland Rally against Islam She's Not Racist
BRISBANE TIMES: One Nation leader Pauline Hanson has declared she is not a racist during a rally against Islam in Brisbane.
Ms Hanson, who narrowly lost her fight for a seat in the 2015 Queensland election, joined hundreds of protesters in King George Square.
Many were draped in the Australian flag and carried signs denouncing sharia law and halal certification for Australian products.
The group Reclaim Australia is holding nationwide rallies against "sharia law, halal tax and Islamisation".
But the rally was not an exercise in racism, Ms Hanson said.
"We have people here today who stand against racism. Thank you for your support," she said.

THE SUNDAY TELEGRAPH: Pauline Hanson, the Australian politician noted for her anti-immigration outbursts, has said she is abandoning plans to move to Britain because “it’s overrun with immigrants and refugees.”
Ms Hanson, the former One Nation party chief who warned that Australia was at risk of being “swamped by Asians”, said France was also inundated with foreigners and she had decided to stay in Australia.
“I love England but so many people want to leave there because it’s overrun with immigrants and refugees,” she said.
“France is becoming filled with Muslims and the French and English are losing their way of life because they’re controlled by foreigners.” Read on and comment >>> | Sunday, November 14, 2010

Pauline Hanson is right, of course. She speaks the truth. But the MSM will villify her for doing so. They’ll say she belongs to the “far-right”, and associate her with the BNP. But the hard reality is that she is RIGHT! Wherever she is on the political spectrum.
But what will be done about this sad situation? FA! Why? Because our so-called leaders have NO BALLS. Take one look at them! Has David Cameron started shaving yet? Have his balls dropped? Ditto Cleggover, though his nickname would suggest otherwise!
When are we going to be governed by REAL politicians – politicians who think more of their country and its citizens than they do of their own image? – © Mark

STUFF.co.nz: Former One Nation leader Pauline Hanson has taken her Queensland home off the market, following a backlash against her decision not to sell to Muslims.
Ms Hanson has been forced to shelve plans to sell her million-dollar property in Coleyville, southwest of Brisbane, and move to Britain.
Her decision comes amid widespread outrage, prompted by remarks from the former politician that she's not prepared to sell to Muslims or foreign investors because the buyer has to be compatible with the Australian way of life.
Her LJ Hooker real estate agent, Keith Edwards, on Thursday said he'd received an onslaught of emails and calls following the controversial comments.
"Pauline withdrew the property from the market, and I no longer represent her and LJ Hooker no longer represent her," Mr Edwards told AAP.
"Some of (the emails) have been pretty upsetting...
"I got the abusive and threatening phone calls last night (Wednesday night), I didn't sleep.
"I got swags of abusive emails, with non-returnable addresses, just cowards." >>> AAP | Friday, April 30, 2010

TIMES ONLINE: The far Right Australian politician Pauline Hanson has announced that she is giving up her home country and moving to England.
Ms Hanson, Australia’s most controversial former MP who campaigned for Parliament on an anti-immigration platform, will migrate to Britain after selling her house in rural Queensland, taking a cruise, and visiting New Zealand.
The 55-year-old former fish and chip shop owner complained that Australia had become a "harder" place to live with fewer opportunities. She said that she was selling her property southwest of Brisbane to live in Britain indefinitely.
"Our governments lack enough people with the fortitude to speak up without fear or favour," Ms Hanson told Australia’s Women’s Day magazine. "Over-regulation, increasing taxes and lack of true representation are affecting our way of life. >>> Sophie Tedmanson in Sydney | Monday, February 15, 2010

TIMESONLINE: The far-right Australian politician Pauline Hanson has received an apology over the publication of 30-year-old raunchy photographs of a near naked woman that local newspapers incorrectly claimed were her, a day after she lost a bid for re-election.
The apology - in which a Sunday newspaper admitted they were “conned” by Jack Johnson, who took the photos and claimed he was a former boyfriend of Ms Hanson - came as the political firebrand lost her bid for a seat in the Queensland parliament, ending her controversial 13-year political career.
Ms Hanson, the former leader of the One Nation political party, had vowed to quit politics for good if she failed to win a seat as an independent in the Queensland parliament during Saturday’s elections.
However on Sunday she declined to rule out running again. “Look, I don’t know,” Ms Hanson said. “I really need to think about this.” >>> Sophie Tedmanson in Sydney | Sunday, March 22, 2009

TIMESONLINE: A set of risque photographs taken 30 years ago has threatened to derail the latest attempt at a comeback by Australian far right politician Pauline Hanson.
Ms Hanson, who briefly achieved international infamy with a campaign against Asian immigration in the 1990s, was aged around 19 when the pictures were taken by her then boyfriend, former army commando Jack Johnson.
They showed the former leader of the One Nation party partially naked and dressed in lingerie after a drunken night at a luxury Queensland resort.
Mr Johnson, who sold the pictures to Australia's Sunday Telegraph newspaper, said he was digitising his old photographs when a friend saw the images of Ms Hanson and suggested he could make some money out of them.
"Sorry it's come to this, sweetheart - that's the way it is," Mr Johnson told the newspaper. >>> Anne Barrowclough in Sydney | Sunday, March 15, 2009
TIMESONLINE: Pauline Hanson Denies Nude Photographs Are of Her
Mystery surrounds a set of nude pictures allegedly taken 30 years ago of the Australian far-right politician Pauline Hanson.
The photographs, published across Australian media at the weekend, purport to show the former One Nation leader partially naked and in skimpy lingerie.
But Ms Hanson says the photographs are not her, and has threatened to bare her belly button to prove it.
Jack Johnson, the "former boyfriend" who sold the pictures to the Sunday Telegraph for A$15,000 (£7,000), admitted today that he could not remember when or where the pictures were taken.
The former army commando also said that he could not remember the surname of the girl he photographed after a drunken night out in Queensland in th 1970s.
He told Australia's Seven Network that he knew "in my heart of hearts" that the girl in the photographs was Ms Hanson.
"But what if I'm wrong?" he asked in an apparent admission that he may have misidentified the woman in the pictures. "I was never the smartest cookie in the barrel." >>> Anne Barrowclough in Sydney | Monday, March 16, 2009
