DAILY EXPRESS: A MASSIVE haul of hardcore pornography was seized from the Pakistan hiding place of 9/11 mastermind Osama bin Laden after he was shot dead by US Navy SEALs.
The nature of the pornography is considered so extreme that American officials refuse to release details, leading to intense speculation that it involves children or animals.
Under strict versions of Sharia law - of the type lauded by hardline Islamist groups ISIS and al-Qaeda - bin Laden would almost certainly have been beheaded, stoned to death, or thrown from a high building for possessing such material.
The Department of National Intelligence (DNI) has released today a list of books the 9/11 mastermind was reading when he was killed four years ago.
But they confirmed Navy SEALs also recovered a large digital collection of sex videos from the compound when they staged a secret mission to kill bin Laden in 2011.
However, the US Government says it is not going to describe or release details on any of the pornographic materials.
DNI spokesman Brian Hale said: “We have no plans to release that at this point in time[.] » | Thursday, May 21, 2015

Not ONE Word of Official Account of Raid that Killed Bin Laden Is True, Claims Award-winning Journalist Seymour Hersh
MAIL ONLINE: The Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist says that raid which killed Osama Bin Laden in 2011 is ‘one big lie’ / He says the US media is too 'afraid' to pick on Obama / Hersh, 76, says the solution is to shut down news networks like NBC and ABC / He also suggested the firing of 90 per cent of mainstream editors
A Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist says that the official account of the raid which killed Osama Bin Laden in 2011 is ‘one big lie’.
Seymour Hersh, 76, said that ‘not one word’ of the Obama administration’s narrative on what happened is true.
In an interview with The Guardian published today, Hersh savages the US media for failing to challenge the White House on a whole host of issues, from NSA spying, to drone attacks, to aggression against Syria.
He said the Navy Seal raid that supposedly resulted in the death of the Al-Qaeda terror leader, Hersh said, ‘not one word of it is true’.
According to Hersh - who first gained worldwide recognition in 1969 for exposing the My Lai Massacre and its cover-up during the Vietnam War, for which he received the 1970 Pulitzer Prize for International Reporting - the problem is that the US media is allowing the Obama administration to get away with lying.

THE DAILY TELEGRAPH: The first details of Osama bin Laden's secret burial at sea have been revealed in internal US military emails.
The emails were released by the Pentagon after a freedom of information request by the Associated Press, but were heavily redacted.
They disclosed that the funeral was so secret that none of the crew on USS Carl Vinson witnessed the burial at sea. They confirmed what the administration said at the time that Islamic rituals were observed.
In an indication of the intense secrecy surrounding the operation, senior naval officers referred to the slain terror leaders's [sic] body was referred to as a FedEx package. » | Thursday, November 22, 2012

THE GUARDIAN: Shakil Afridi faces 33 years in jail in Pakistan despite calls from senior US officials to release him
The Pakistani medical official who ran a fake CIA vaccination programme to help find Osama bin Laden has been jailed for 33 years.
A spokesman for Khyber Agency, an administrative unit in Pakistan's restless frontier, said Dr Shakil Afridi would face decades in jail – despite calls from senior US officials to release the man who helped with efforts to track down the al-Qaida chief.
The tough sentence for the former surgeon general of Khyber will be taken as another sign of the terrible state of US-Pakistan relations.
And it will further alarm western critics of Pakistan who say the country has put far more effort into trying to understand how US spies and special forces were able to plan and launch the Bin Laden raid than into how the al-Qaida leader was able to remain for so long in the Pakistani army garrison town of Abbottabad.
The sentence was announced just days after Barack Obama snubbed the Pakistani president, Asif Ali Zardari, by refusing to hold a formal meeting with him at the Nato conference in Chicago. » | Jon Boone in Islamabad | Wednesday, May 23, 2012

BBC: Saudi officials have said they have no suspicions about Osama Bin Laden's widows and children, who arrived in the kingdom late last week.
The three women and reportedly 11 children were deported from Pakistan last week.
A spokesman said the kingdom had acted out of "humanitarian considerations" in offering shelter to the group.
The group spent a year in Pakistani custody after Bin Laden was killed by US special forces in May last year.
"Saudi Arabia acted out of humanitarian considerations... in so far as there are no reports or evidence of any implication in criminal or illegal acts," the official Saudi Press Agency quoted a spokesman as saying, AFP news agency reports.
'Country of choice'
The spokesman said the group had been welcomed by their relatives when they arrived in Jeddah on Thursday night.
The three widows and their children left Pakistan for Saudi Arabia which was, according to a Pakistani interior ministry spokesman, "the country of their choice". » | Sunday, April 29, 2012

THE DAILY TELEGRAPH: The 14 members of Osama bin Laden's family who survived the US Navy Seal raid which killed him in May last year were on Friday preparing to live incognito - but probably in some luxury - in Saudi Arabia after being deported from Pakistan.
They included three of his widowed wives, ten children and one grandchild. One of his wives, Amal Ahmed al-Sadah, was deported to Saudi Arabia despite being a Yemeni, at the insistence of Yemen officials and members of her family who feared she might become a focal point for bin Laden's followers or alternatively targeted by al-Qaeda militants.
In Saudi Arabia, the family members are expected to reside with bin Laden's extended family, led by Osama's half-brother, Bakr bin Mohammed Binladin, the chairman of Saudi Binladin. The kingdom's biggest construction company, it is the foundation of the family's fortune.
They were deported on the orders of a Pakistan court after being convicted of entering the country illegally, but it is understood officials wanted them removed from the country before next week's first anniversary of the raid in which the al-Qaead leader was killed. » | Tom Hussain in Islamabad and Adam Baron in Sanaa | Friday, April 27, 2012

THE WASHINGTON POST: Before his death, Osama bin Laden boldly commanded his network to organize special cells in Afghanistan and Pakistan to attack the aircraft of President Barack Obama and Gen. David Petraeus.
“The reason for concentrating on them,” the al-Qaeda leader explained to his top lieutenant, “is that Obama is the head of infidelity and killing him automatically will make (Vice President Joe) Biden take over the presidency. … Biden is totally unprepared for that post, which will lead the U.S. into a crisis. As for Petraeus, he is the man of the hour … and killing him would alter the war’s path” in Afghanistan. » | David Ignatius | Opinion Writer | Friday, March 16, 2012

THE GUARDIAN: The women have been charged with illegally entering and living in the country, says Pakistan interior minister
Pakistan has charged Osama bin Laden's three widows with illegally entering and living in the country, interior minister Rehman Malik has said.
The three women have been in Pakistani detention since May last year, when US commandos raided the house where they, Bin Laden and several of their children were staying. The commandos shot and killed Bin Laden, and then buried his body at sea.
Malik said the three had been charged in court, but he did not say when. It was unclear if they had a lawyer.
He said their children were free to leave Pakistan, but could stay with their mothers for the duration of the trial. » | Associated Press in Islamabad | Thursday, March 08, 2012

THE SUNDAY TELEGRAPH: Al-Qaeda has proclaimed its solidarity with anti-government protesters in Syria in a video message urging the Muslim world to support the protesters in their efforts to over throw.
Ayman al-Zawahri, global head of al-Qaeda since the death of Osama bin Laden last May, issued the call to arms in an eight-minute video posted on an Islamic website on Sunday entitled "Onwards, Lions of Syria".
Dressed entirely in white, with an assault rifle displayed by his side, Egyptian born al-Zawahri urged Muslim states including Iraq, Lebanon and Jordan to come to the aid of Syrian protesters and urged Syrian protesters not to ally themselves with the Western powers, including the US and the United Nations, or the Arab League.
"Our people in Syria, don't rely on the West or the United States or Arab governments and Turkey," Mr Zawahri said."You know better what they are planning against you. Our people in Syria don't depend on the Arab League and its corrupt governments supporting it." » | Phoebe Greenwood | Sunday, February 12, 2012

THE GUARDIAN: Amal Ahmed al-Sadah, 29, expected to return home after being held by security services since US raid on compound
Osama bin Laden's youngest wife is expected to leave Pakistan for her homeland, Yemen, within days.
Amal Ahmed al-Sadah, 29, has been held by security services since US special forces killed Bin Laden, whom she married in 1999.
Sadah was wounded in the operation and detained by Pakistani authorities in the compound in the northern garrison town of Abbottabad where her husband was hiding. She is believed to have been questioned by US intelligence services.
Reports in newspapers in the Yemen and Saudi Arabia, confirmed by officials in Riyadh, indicate that arrangements have been finalised between Yemeni and Pakistani diplomats for the return of Sadah and her 12-year-old daughter, Safiya, who was also injured in the raid. » | Jason Burke in Riyadh | Wednesday, June 22, 2011

THE DAILY TELEGRAPH: Al-Qaeda has chosen Ayman al-Zawahri as its new leader following Osama bin Laden's death in a US commando raid last month, according to a statement apparently issued by the movement’s general command.
The Egyptian surgeon was al-Qaeda’s number two for more than a decade and was widely expected to take on the top role when bin Laden was shot dead by US Navy Seals in Pakistan.
“The general command of al-Qaeda announces, after consultations, the appointment of Sheikh Ayman al-Zawahiri as head of the group,” said the statement which was posted on an Islamist website.

THE DAILY TELEGRAPH: Al-Qaeda has released a posthumous message from Osama bin Laden praising the revolutions in Egypt and Tunisia and urging Muslims to take advantage of a "rare historic opportunity" to rise up, according to a US monitoring service.
The 12-minute, 37-second audio message posted on jihadist forums by al-Qaeda's media arm As-Sahab addresses Muslims on the revolutions sweeping the Middle East and North Africa, said SITE Intelligence.
Speaking from beyond the grave, bin Laden recommended setting up a council to offer revolutionary advice and decide the best timing to spread revolt across the Muslim world.
"A delay may cause the opportunity to be lost, and carrying it out before the right time will increase the number of casualties," bin Laden says in the audio message, according to SITE's translation.
"I think that the winds of change will blow over the entire Muslim world, with permission from Allah."
He accused rulers of building themselves into idols and manipulating the media to stay in power. » | Thursday, April 19, 2011

THE SUNDAY TELEGRAPH: Pakistan's intelligence services are refusing to share details of suspects or plots with their American counterparts in protest at the US operation to kill Osama bin Laden, raising the potential threat of attacks on Western cities.
In the past, Pakistani agents have been credited with helping identify targets for drone strikes and providing data to the CIA on plans being hatched in its lawless tribal areas.
Now buffeted and embarrassed by being kept in the dark for months as the US closed in on the al-Qaeda leader's bolthole, little more than 30 miles from the Pakistani capital Islamabad, agents with the Inter-Services Intelligence directorate have begun to withhold crucial operational details about militants on its territory.
At the same time, new details have emerged about bin Laden's extensive support network inside Pakistan, reaching all the way to the sprawling port city of Karachi.
The revelations will heap more pressure on to an administration already accused of helping shelter the world's most wanted man.
The Sunday Telegraph has learned that the ISI, which prides itself on arresting a series of key terrorists including the 9/11 mastermind Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, has now broken off relations with the Central Intelligence Agency. » | Rob Crilly, Islamabad | Saturday, May 14, 2011

MAIL ONLINE: Osama Bin Laden was plotting to assassinate Barack Obama during the 2012 Presidential election, intelligence has revealed.
The Al Qaeda leader was obsessed with killing the U.S. President, who he believed 'violated the Muslim faith'.
Bin Laden took 'very personally' U.S. military campaigns in Afghanistan and the Middle East and was so disgusted, he could not even watch Mr Obama on television.
Videos found in Bin Laden's final hideout in Pakistan show the terror leader at home changing the channel every time Mr Obama comes on, unable to even look at his image.
The extraordinary details emerged from the enormous cache of intelligence seized from Bin Laden's compound in Abbottabad during the raid in which he was killed.
The 200million pages of data give chilling details about Bin Laden's lust for jihad on the West.
The CIA said it learned more from ten days of studying the 'treasure trove' of computers and handwritten journals than in the past ten years.
The terrorist leader had also built up a 'fairly extensive' stash of pornography at his final mansion hideout in Pakistan.
According to CIA sources, until his last days Bin Laden was plotting a terror campaign to target Los Angeles, New York and London that would have topped 9/11.
The planned attacks were part of a campaign to drive Western troops out of the Middle East. Continue reading and comment » | Daniel Bates | Friday, May 13, 2011
