Islam - The Religion of Peace; But for America, More like the Harbinger of Death

CANADA FREE PRESS: Ever since the followers of Islam began their migratory moves to America our country has been subjected to the very dark side of that freedom-to-kill cult that unabashedly announced to we Americans that they, the Islamists, considered us, the Americans, to be infidels or ‘unbelievers’ unless we submit to Islam and discard other beliefs. In other words, spit on Christianity and swallow whole Islam and all of its ravages.

Islamists can’t be trusted or believed. We have everyday proof of that sitting in our White House. When looking for the truth consider just the opposite of what Barack Obama says. He is a totally disingenuous man with accomplices of the same cut of dishonest. And the two Muslim brothers of Boston Marathon fame are of the same cult having lived here for about 10 years before their murderous true selves surfaced.

Be extremely aware of these people to whom murder is just another daily chore.

How much longer must we tolerate these savages that parade under a false banner of make-believe peace with their sneaky weapons of destruction and death at the fore? One of the first things that will have to happen is the removal of their chief adherent and promoter Barack Obama. In his eyes they can do no wrong. That should not be an insurmountable chore with all the facts available for a positive vote for impeachment. » | Jerry McConnell | Saturday, April 20, 2013

Arkansas Republicans' Comments on Slavery, Muslims Stir Controversy

REUTERS.COM: Republicans in Arkansas are struggling to get past the controversy generated by a state lawmaker who wrote that slavery might have benefited blacks and a candidate who has advocated expelling Muslims from the United States.

The Republican politicians' comments have been roundly criticized and have created an opportunity for Democrats ahead of the November 6 election. Arkansas has a Democratic governor but has voted Republican in the past three presidential elections.

In his self-published 2009 book titled "Letters to the Editor: Confessions of a Frustrated Conservative," state Representative Jon Hubbard of Jonesboro, Arkansas, writes that "the institution of slavery that the black race has long believed to be an abomination upon its people may actually have been a blessing in disguise."

Hubbard, a retired teacher and Vietnam veteran who was elected to the statehouse in 2010, also wrote, "Wouldn't life for blacks in America today be more enjoyable and successful if they would only learn to appreciate the value of a good education?"

His book also says that blacks "are likely much better than they ever would have enjoyed living in sub-Saharan Africa."

Charles Fuqua of Batesville, Arkansas, is currently seeking a House of Representatives seat. His e-book "God's Law: The Only Political Solution" came out in April on Amazon.

"I see no solution to the Muslim problem short of expelling all followers of the religion from the United States," he writes in his book, according to The Arkansas Times newspaper. » | Suzi Parker | LITTLE ROCK, Arkansas | Saturday, October 06, 2012

Number of Muslims in the U.S. Doubles Since 9/11

NEW YORK DAILY NEWS: Mormonism grows 45% and spreads across nation

A new survey reveals the dramatically changing face of religion in America, with the number of Muslims in the U.S. soaring 67% in the decade since the 9/11 attacks.

Data released Tuesday from the 2010 U.S. Religion Census shows Islam was the fastest growing religion in America in the last 10 years, with 2.6 million living in the U.S. today, up from 1 million in 2000.

Mormonism too saw remarkable growth, with a 45% increase in adherents. It added nearly 2 million members since 2000, bringing their number in the U.S. to 6.1 million.

"Both of these groups entered more than 200 counties that they weren't in 10 years ago," said Dale Jones, data analyst and mapping specialist for the Religion Census.

The findings represent religious people who attend services. Census surveyors collected data on congregational adherents of 236 religious groups, including full members, their children and others who regularly attend services, with a 5% margin of error.

In the Midwest and parts of the South there are now more Muslims than Jews for the first time. Immigration from parts of the Muslim world and a small rise in conversions are the driving force behind the growth, researchers said. Jones also speculated that the burst of anti-Islam sentiment after the 9/11 attacks could have done more to grow the religion's presence in the U.S. than slow it. Those on the fence about converting to Islam may have decided to do so on principle. » | Meghan Neal / New York Daily News | Thursday, May 03, 2012

The NYPD Zagat Guide to Newark’s Best (and Most Threatening) Muslim Restaurants

GAWKER: Last night, the AP broke the news that the New York Police Department had spent months spying on Muslims in Newark, N.J. "The result was a 60-page report," AP reporter Adam Goldman writes, "containing brief summaries of businesses and their clientele." But was it a surveillance file... or just a guide to Newark's best Muslim restaurants?

"Such surveillance has become commonplace in New York City in the decade since the 2001 terrorist attacks," Goldman rightly points out. "The documents obtained by the AP show, for the first time in any detail, how those efforts stretched outside the NYPD's jurisdiction."

But as he himself acknowledges, "[t]he report cited no evidence of terrorism or criminal behavior." Indeed, it's just "a guide to Newark's Muslims." Nothing creepy about NYPD spending months monitoring Muslims outside their jurisdiction, at all. And what could be more helpful to the aspiring gourmand than a handbook of the best Halal joints in Newark? With that in mind, we've re-arranged some of the dry NYPD "notes," Zagat-style, to bring you: The NYPD Guide to Newark's Best Muslim Restaurants. » | Max Read | Wednesday, February 22, 2012

Law Expert Explains Sharia and Islam

This professor is naïve. With Islam growing apace in the US, with many Americans embracing that faith, the fear of sharia law should indeed be a worry for Americans. – © Mark

U.S. Must Reject Extremist Islam at Home

CNN: America should listen to David Cameron right now.

This past weekend, the British prime minister spoke to the issue of radical Islam and the cultural-political concessions to it in Great Britain. His major theme, at a speech delivered in Munich, Germany, can be summed up by what he said to many young Muslims who "find it hard to identify with Britain ... because we have allowed the weakening of our collective identity."

"Under the doctrine of state multiculturalism, we have encouraged different cultures to live separate lives, apart from each other and the mainstream," failing to provide those cultures with "a vision of society to which they feel they want to belong," he said.

Cameron also said his nation has tolerated these segregated communities "behaving in ways that run counter" to British values.

Cameron was quite right in what he said about Britain, and it is equally true here in America. "(W)hen a white person holds objectionable views, racism, for example, we rightly condemn them. But when equally unacceptable views or practices have come from someone who isn't white, we've been too cautious, frankly even fearful, to stand up to them," he said. >>> William J. Imam Criticized for NY Mosque Embarks on U.S. Speaking Tour

REUTERS: The New York imam whose proposed Muslim cultural center and mosque near "Ground Zero" has stirred opposition is embarking on a U.S. speaking tour where he intends to correct misperceptions about his aims.

"The sentiment around Muslims and Islam, about who we are and what we are about, is something that cannot wait and must be dealt with," Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf said.

"We want to make it clear who we are and where we stand," he said. "We are part of this narrative for the worse, and we need to be part of it for the better."

But opponents say Rauf's debut in Detroit on Saturday before the Islamic Society of North America is indicative of his extremism, and his tour of universities and religious institutions amounts to blatant fund-raising for a widely condemned project. >>> Andrew Smith, Chicago | Thursday, January 13, 2011
