White Muslim Convert Threatened to Kill Prince Harry Just Hours after Brutal Murder of Drummer Lee Rigby

A white Muslim convert threatened to kill Prince Harry just a day after the shocking murder of a soldier in Woolwich.

Ashraf Islam, 30, formerly known as Mark Townley, confessed to police that he wanted to kill the third in line to the throne, who has served in high profile tours of Afghanistan.

Islam walked into a police station in Hounslow on May 23 and told detectives that he wanted to murder the prince hours after soldier Lee Rigby, 25, was killed.

He was charged under Section 16 of the Offences against the Person Act, which carries a possible jail term of up to 10 years, following an investigation by the Metropolitan Police's Counter terrorism Command unit.

According to the Daily Star detectives found a laptop belonging to Islam which showed internet searches for 'guns', 'vans' and 'kidnapping'.

He is also said to have visited terrorist websites.

Islam, who is believed to have become a Muslim during a recent spell in prison, is currently behind bars after pleading guilty to the offence at Uxbridge Magistrates Court last Saturday.

Angela Merkel Receives 'Assassination Threat' from German Islamists

German Chancellor Angela Merkel has received a death threat from Islamic extremists who warn that Europe's nations will experience a 'European Summer' similar to the Middle East's 'Arab Spring', according to German newspapers.

A video has been released by a German Islamist calling himself Abu Azzam, in which he vows to take down Germany and Merkel, according to the daily Die Welt.

"Looking back on an Arab Spring, we look forward to a European summer. Osama, waiting for us, we have tasted blood. We want to see Obama and Merkel dead!," says the video message.

Citing the 9/11 attack on the World Trade Center, the Islamists threaten similar attacks on German soil.

"You will bleed, your heads will roll (...) Oh Allah, give the German people what it deserves! Know that we get free advertising through you," said the radical Islamist in the video.

BNP 'Sacks' PR Accused of Coup Bid
YAHOO! NEWS: The British National Party has sacked its publicity chief after he was arrested on suspicion of threatening to kill its leader Nick Griffin, according to reports.

Party bosses also accused Mark Collett, 29, who appeared in a documentary called Young, Nazi and Proud while a student in Leeds, of trying to launch a "palace coup" against Mr Griffin.

Mr Collett was responsible for producing the far right group's publicity material and edited its newspaper.

A leaked copy of the BNP organisers bulletin stated the party had run "an extensive and long-running" investigation into financial irregularities.

It stated: "We are able to say that Mark Collett was conspiring with a small clique of other party officials to launch a 'palace coup' against our twice democratically elected party leader, Nick Griffin, and that in order to create the artificial climate of disillusionment necessary for this to stand any chance of success, lies and unfounded rumours have been spread, and were planned to be spread much further.

Former Muslim Facing Death Threats In Egypt
BOS NEWS LIFE: CAIRO, EGYPT -- A former Muslim who converted to Christianity in Egypt was in hiding Sunday, March 8, after Islamic lawyers demanded that he be executed on charges of "apostasy," Egyptian Christians and rights investigators monitoring the trial said.

Middle East Concern (MEC), an advocacy group with closely follows the case, told BosNewsLife that Maher Ahmad El-Mo’otahssem Bellah El-Gohary has been trying to obtain identification papers with Christianity designated as his religion, despite death threats.

"Maher is involved in a legal battle to officially change his religious registration from Islam to Christianity so that both he and his daughter may be identified as Christians," MEC said.

However at a trial on February 22 some 20 Islamic lawyers strongly opposed that move, MEC and other sources said.

Egyptian law allows Muslim lawyers to become involved in a court case if they believe the outcome will run counter to Islamic law "harmful" to society.
