Hillary Clinton Accuses Trump Administration of Epstein Files 'Cover-up' in BBC Interview | BBC News

Feb 17, 2026 | Hillary Clinton has accused US President Donald Trump's administration of a "cover-up" over its handling of files related to the late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

"Get the files out. They are slow-walking it," the former US secretary of state told the BBC in Berlin, where she attended the annual World Forum.

The White House insisted that by releasing the files they had done "more for the victims than Democrats ever have".

Millions of new files relating to the late sex offender Epstein were released by the US Department of Justice earlier this month.

New Epstein File Emails Raise Fresh Questions over Andrew Claims in Newsnight Interview | BBC News

Feb 13, 2026 | Following the latest release of the Epstein files, claims made by the then Prince Andrew in the 2019 BBC Newsnight interview have been put into question.

The BBC’s Sean Coughlan and Sarah Campbell have gone through the interview to compare Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor’s replies with emails which were apparently sent by and to the former prince.

Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor is facing growing pressure from US officials and the family of his prominent accuser Virginia Giuffre to testify in the US about his links to paedophile financier Jeffrey Epstein.

We have contacted Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor for comment. He has previously denied any wrongdoing.

Will the Epstein Files Tarnish the Reputation of Jamie Dimon, America’s Banker?

THE GUARDIAN: The final stretch of the JP Morgan Chase chief’s career is a bumpy one, as Trump himself demands prosecutors investigate Epstein’s ties to Dimon’s bank

Jamie Dimon, the longtime chief of JP Morgan Chase, America’s biggest bank, was under oath. The occasion was a May 2023 deposition related to several lawsuits filed against his bank over its history of involvement with the sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein.

The question put to Dimon was straightforward: “When did you first learn that Jeffrey Epstein was a customer of JPMorgan?”

His answer seemed clear: “I don’t recall knowing anything about Jeffrey Epstein until the stories broke sometime in 2019” – meaning the stories about Epstein’s arrest by federal authorities in the summer of 2019 and his death a month later in a Manhattan jail cell.

Clear, but believable? This exchange can be found in the US justice department’s Epstein files, with the digital “Epstein library”, as it’s called, tabulating 204 “results” (separate documents, though some duplicative) for Dimon, at current count, and 9,404 for his bank.

Epstein was a client of JP Morgan Chase for 15 years, from 1998 to 2013, for the last eight of which Dimon was the bank’s CEO, the position he still holds. And Epstein was not just any client, but a prized one of JPMorgan’s private bank for ultra-wealthy customers. A JP Morgan report, belatedly filed with the treasury department, flagged about 4,700 Epstein-related “suspicious activity” transactions totaling $1.1bn, including payments to women from post-Soviet countries. Through Dimon’s bank, Epstein wired hundreds of millions of dollars to Russian banks.

Not only that, a top former JP Morgan executive, Jes Staley, undermined Dimon’s sworn testimony – claiming to have communicated with Dimon on Epstein years before the 2019 arrest. And a current senior bank executive, Mary Erdoes, often said to be on Dimon’s shortlist of candidates to succeed him as CEO, was also actively involved with the Epstein account and was aware, as documents show, of Epstein’s court-affirmed status as a high-risk sex offender. » | Paul Starobin | Friday, February 13, 2026

Epstein Files Expose Central Europe as a “Hunting Ground” | News in Depth

Feb 6, 2026 | Matthew Day says the new Jeffrey Epstein files show Central and Eastern Europe – especially Poland – served as a recruiting ground, with Warsaw as the operation's travel hub for moving young women abroad.

He explains that Epstein’s team didn’t only use agencies to find women; they also drove through villages looking for girls, often targeting poor or broken homes with promises of money, apartments, or education.

According to witness testimony, this allegedly happened at a shocking scale, sometimes around five underage girls a week in the early 2000s. Day also warns that beyond trafficking, there may be a blackmail angle involving powerful people, which is why governments like Poland are treating this as a national security issue.

His bottom line: there are millions of documents still unseen, key names are redacted, and until everything comes out, real accountability is likely to remain nonexistent.

The Fallout and Impact of the Epstein Files | BBC News

Feb 6, 2026 | The list of some of the world's most rich and powerful people with ties to late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein has lengthened, after the US government released millions of new files from its investigation into the disgraced financier.

The latest drop of material on 30 January included three million pages, 180,000 images, 2,000 videos, and a number of household names like Richard Branson, Bill Gates and Elon Musk

. There is no suggestion that appearing in the documents implies any wrongdoing. Many people who have featured in previous releases have denied any wrongdoing in relation to Epstein.

One would be forgiven for concluding that all people at the top, all the one-percenters, are crooked, corrupt, bent, and perverted! And that goes for many members of royal families, too, it seems. What a pack of wankers all these sad people are! Seemingly, even shedfuls of money—amounts of money that most people could only dream of—aren’t enough for them. They also apparently need to be turned on by perversion as well!

And these people expect everyone to respect them! Those days are well and truly over. These depraved people have shown us all just who they really are. — © Mark Alexander

Feb 4, 2026 | “The evidence suggests that Mandelson's motivation was shaped by a belief that he'd be helped by Epstein to find lucrative employment afterwards.”

Epstein Files Show How Powerful Men Protect Each Other | Helen Rumbelow

Feb 4, 2026 | “This is actually a deeper and darker and more profound revelation of how very powerful men use their networks with each other, which are drenched in misogyny, to hold on and help each other stay in control.”

After sifting through millions of newly released Epstein files, Times columnist Helen Rumbelow argues the story is being misframed as the downfall of a few high-profile men, rather than a deeper exposure of how power operates behind closed doors, as the documents reveal a network of powerful men bound by misogyny, mutual protection, and the routine dehumanisation of women.
