A US reporter held hostage in Iraq for more than two months has been freed.

Jill Carroll, who works for the Boston-based Christian Science Monitor, was abducted by unknown gunmen in west Baghdad on 7 January.

She told Iraqi TV she had been treated well and said she was looking forward to being reunited with her family. Read it all here: US journalist released in Iraq

Who is John? Are you referring to John Sobieski?

American Crusader:

I have just seen your site. How about linking up with A New Dark Age Is Dawning?

Good news, although I think it won't teach our Jill all that much.

She was treated well.
How long did they keep her in captivity?

I note shes wearing a headdress.

2 Aussie girls caught for drugs in Indonesia: one converted/was muslim and got let off, one didn't and is serving 15 to 20 for a huge bag of marijuana she swears wasn't even hers in her boogie board bag at the Bali airport.

Missing Link I love your picture :)

I'm very suspicious of this Muslim wannabee. It smells funny and it looks funny. A month ago, she was bawling and looked panicked. Was it all an act? Is this the second act? Caveat emptor, taqiyya afoot.

John S,

When the muslim convert got back home to Oz she ressumed her bikini modeling lol, islam was outraged here.

I mean really in Australia even a muslim can legally wear bikinis n drink beer she can do anything. We all thought it was hilarious, sadly though the other girl will rot to death in an Indo prison.

Thank you! I shall link to yours as soon as I can. Probably next week. At the moment, I am unable to add or take anything away from the template. It's stuffed.

I take delivery of a new computer next week; so I shall have a different browser as well. Things will hopefully work just fine then.

Please excuse the wait. It will be done asap.

I agree with you. I also doubt that it will have taught her much. That treating her well bit cracks me up. Did they treat her well to keep her so long, and to threaten her with death?

I hope she's not going to 'revert' now. What do they call it: Stockholm syndrome?

I am very glad that she is safe and well though; and it must be a huge relief for her family.

What Has Islam Done For You Today:

note shes wearing a headdress.

Yes. Why on earth doesn't she take that off?

Fair sort of people, aren't they?

Missing Link I love your picture :)

What picture? I see no picture!

Do you really think she's a "Muslim wanabee", John?

Yes, I fear you're right.

Mark,

I bet she can't take it off incase shes pretty.

I think that Stockholm syndrome could be why she's so soft on it, it might be why muslims like Islam and Mo/Allah and their dictatorships as well, captured by a bastards and somehow loving them.

Missing link has an icon of a Tasmanian Devil on his or her comment were you have your Book.

I went and got John Balls Radio through the net, he's very open to the subject of Islam, and also pretty calm when he talks about it.

Did you know one of his fellow announcers, Alan Jones, was widely accused of stirring up the Cronulla riots. Which was not true at all.

Well, she certainly does look attractive in the photo above, despite the shroud!

I've witnessed first-hand how Muslims become besotted by Muhammad. One could call it 'the myth of Muhammad'! Frightening, isn't it?

I guessed that you were referring to his avatar. But the funny thing is this: I see none on my computer on my website anymore. I really would like to know what on earth has gone wrong with my weblog.

I started having difficulties about ten days ago. I believe I was hacked, since my template can no longer be modified at the moment in any shape, fashion or form. Now you've drawn my attention to another problem: The missing avatars. I hadn't even noticed they'd gone missing! Thanks for drawing my attention to this.

I shall have to do the same someday soon. What time is he on air? By the way, I think you mean Jim, not John.

I can well imagine that he'd be outspoken.

Did you know one of his fellow announcers, Alan Jones, was widely accused of stirring up the Cronulla riots. Which was not true at all.

No, I didn't know this. This is news to me.

Mark,

Jim yes Jim sorry, hes starting about now I'd say, http://2gb.com/ is where you can get the real player broadcasting it, yeh have a google on 2GB or Alan Jones etc and see all the garbage they wrote about them at that station, that was when the whole of Australia was Nazi.

WHIDFYT?:

Hope you don't mind my abbreviation of your name. The other one is a little long to keep writing all the time. :-)

Thanks for that link. I'm going to try an pick up his show now. I'll also check out the guff printed about Alan Jones later, too.

PS.

Actully I don't think its him on at the moment. It's talk back on gang crime in Sydney by the criminals you can't name and seems like this presenter plays nice old music from the black n white movies :)

I hopr your blog is safe, I personally wish I'd set up in wordpress myself.

Mark said...

WHIDFYT?:

I have been unable to get any reception. It just keeps on rebuffering! Perhaps I'll have better luck next week when I get my new computer.

I just took at look at Wordpress. I am reluctant to change though, because people now know my web address. It would take a while to build up the traffic another time. I'd have to start from scratch; and I'd have to inform all those people who have linked to me. That would be a headache in itself.

The problem with Blogger is that you can't seem to get a real person when you ask for support.

I hope my Blog is safe, too. I'm presuming that all will be well next week. Maybe my browser has become corrupted, I don't know.

I reserve the right to be wrong, but this whole Jill Carroll bit just refuses to compute in my head. So far, talk radio and the news that will report other than pabulum about this case won't go below the idea of something on the order of Stockholm Syndrome. I have heard many slips, but political correctness seemed to arrive just in time to stop them raising all the questions they should.

Since the first videotape coming from Carroll in captivity, this whole business started stinking--at least to us. This girl is sort of a "Rachel Corrie in Iraq," just overflowing with leftist anti-Americanism and love-without-end professed for the poor Iraqis. I have heard nothing from the left-leaning press except adulation for her.

If there is a dark side to this story, if not several stories, then it will interesting to watch the adoring media fall all over themselves to keep it white-washed.

It refuses to compute in many people's heads, I think!

I wouldn't be at all surprised that we'll be hearing, by and by, that she's suffering from it.

I have heard many slips, but political correctness seemed to arrive just in time to stop them raising all the questions they should.

Do you really expect the MSM to raise the pertinent questions?

I have heard nothing from the left-leaning press except adulation for her.

You probably won't either.

Whitewashing Islam is the watchword of the day!
