I feel humbled whenever I see or hear Ayaan Hirshi Ali. She has it all, courage, spirit, intelligence, focus - oh how the mullahs must fear her! The truth has such power.

Our "brave leaders" have much to learn from this gutsy, honest and courageous woman. She puts them to shame.

Lee:

Yes, she's one gutsy lady!

Don't they, though! In the West, guts, honesty, and courage seem to be qualities of politicians only of a bygone age!

Yes, Anton, our politicians grovel. That word 'grovel' says it all. Our PM is the king of grovellers!

I am ashamed to be a citizen of the UK!

Unfortunately, to be British doesn't mean what it used to. A lot of your feelings quite probably come from the way the Blair administration has handled things, especially the way he has pandered to the Muslim community. Blair has the re-election of the Labour Party and his own self-interest at heart.

Compare Blair to Margaret Thatcher. They are worlds apart: Blair is out for himself; Thatcher was out for the country. So I would imagine that you wouldn't have said the same when she was in power. I'd be interested to know.
