Finnish President Tells Russia 'You Caused This' as He Signs Security Pact with UK

May 11, 2022 • The President of Finland, Sauli Niinistö has told a news conference in Helsinki that Russia's invasion of Ukraine "changed the picture" on the country's security.

The world is full of unnecessary suffering and deaths. Let us at least try to understand each other better and minimise the suffering and tragic deaths. One death is one death too many! Ein Tod ist ein Tod zu viel! Können wir es nicht besser machen? / Le monde est rempli de souffrances et de morts inutiles. Essayons au moins de mieux nous comprendre et de minimiser les souffrances et les morts tragiques. Un décès est un décès de trop ! Ne pouvons-nous pas faire mieux que cela ? – © Mark Alexander
