Princess of Wales to Attend Wimbledon Men’s Final

BBC: The Princess of Wales will attend the Wimbledon men's final on Sunday, Kensington Palace has confirmed.

This will be only her second public appearance following her cancer diagnosis and abdominal surgery earlier this year.

Last month, Catherine attended Trooping the Colour, and was seen smiling and waving from the Buckingham Palace balcony.

On Sunday the princess will present the winner of this year's men's singles tournament with the trophy.

She has been a patron of the All-England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club for the past eight years.

Princess of Wales Makes First Public Appearance since Cancer Diagnosis | Trooping the Colour

Jun 15, 2024 | The Princess of Wales watched the Trooping the Colour from the Buckingham Palace balcony with Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis. The Princess travelled to the ceremony in the Glass State Coach with her children, appearing in public for the first time this year, as she begins her return to public life after her cancer diagnosis.

The King and Queen also travelled by carriage to the ceremony, riding in the Scottish State Coach while the Prince of Wales rode on horseback to the event.

The Princess, who is still undergoing chemotherapy, will later make an official appearance on the balcony alongside the King and the other members of the Royal Family.
