Sir Jacob Rees-Mogg is a British politician and broadcaster who served as a Conservative Member of Parliament from 2010 to 2024. A prominent advocate for Brexit, he held senior government roles including Leader of the House of Commons and Business Secretary. He now hosts State of the Nation on GB News.
The double standards in people's thinking about nuclear weapons is astounding! Rees-Mogg is happy, for example, for Pakistan to have nuclear weapons but not for Iran to have them! If all those other countries can have nuclear weapons, then why not Iran, too? Rees-Mogg says there has been peace in Europe since 1945, the end of the Second World War. Yes, indeed there has been peace in Europe since that time.
