Nigel Farage Is Pressed on ‘Racist’ Remarks Uncovered in Documentary | BBC Radio 4 Today

Nigel Farage has said it is "absolute cobblers" that a councillor would join Reform UK so he would be "amongst friends" to make offensive comments.

Speaking to Radio 4’s Today programme, the party's leader said former councillor Alan Feeney, who was filmed saying the UK was “infested" with Asian families, joined Reform UK from the Conservatives "because he had a better chance at winning his seat”.

The MP for Clacton also spoke about being the "father of the movement" to leave the European Union and Brexit, and criticises Prime Minister Andy Burnham’s recent comments about a closer relationship with Europe.

This man is nothing but a snake oil salesman. He has caused this country’s low economici growth with that ridiculous Brexit. I wouldn’t trust a word he says. — © Mark Alexander
