Michael Lambert: The Party's Over for Reform UK - and Farage Knows It

Oct 23, 2026 | In this video I look at why support appears to be drifting. There have been reports around Nigel Farage, including the questions over the £5m gift, and the Parliamentary Standards investigation and Clacton by-election talk, the investigations reported around Richard Tice and party funding, the Channel 4 reports on foreign donations, and the ITV undercover documentary on Reform activists. I also look at where those votes go — back to the Tories, to Restore UK, or back to Labour — and why I think without Farage, Reform is nothing and he may soon quit..

People who are enthusiastic followers of Reform UK are, on the whole, a rum, racist, backwatd-looking, xenophobic lot, many of whom would turn violent in a heartbeat. At least that’s how they come over to me. Maybe I’m wrong, but I don’t think so. Moreover, I wouldn’t trust Farage with the keys to Number 10 anymore more than I would trust a crook with them! fiven half a chance, he’d do bad things for this country. Just as Trump has done for the USA. Is it any wonder why Farage and Trump are as thick as thieves? — © Mark Alexander
