Jeff Landry Backtracks on ‘Greenland Capture’ Remark after EU Backlash

His remarks come after earlier statements suggesting the U.S. would work to bring Greenland closer to Washington, fueling diplomatic tensions. Denmark and Greenland’s leaders have stressed sovereignty and international law, warning against any attempt to redraw borders under the guise of security concerns.
