Ellison already owns CBS and Paramount, but he may possibly soon own CNN and HBO too–as well as TikTok. To boot, Sinclair broadcasting now owns a significant amount of local media stations that are all pro-Trump. The media companies not under control of Trump-aligned billionaires (like ABC News) have lost their independence due to government coercion or capitulations.
