What I find appalling and perplexing is that the beleaguered and besieged Palestinians themselves have not been given any say in their own future, in the future of their own homeland. Surely, after the genocide that has been perpetrated upon these poor people, the very least the world could do is give them a say in their own future, and future homeland.
The world was generous to the then Jews who had suffered persecution in the Third Reich. And understandably so. They were given a homeland. Because of this generosity, one would have hoped that these self-same people would show the same generosity to the Palestinians now. Palestinians deserve a place to call their own as well. — © Mark Alexander
