Iran seeks goodwill from the UK

BBC: Iran's ambassador to London has said Britain should respond "in a positive way" to the release of the 15 Royal Navy personnel held for 13 days.

Rasoul Movahedian said that Iran wanted help to release five Iranians held by the US in Iraq, and to ease fears over its nuclear programme.

He told the Financial Times: "If [the British] want to be helpful and use their influence we will welcome that." Iran seeks goodwill over captives

I bet they do. The sad part is that there will be plenty of useful idiots in Britain who will agree 100% with that idea.

We cannot seem to find the moral fortitude to stand in defense of our absolute right to take action against a known enemy, whether it be in fear, ignorance or just plain comfortable making money to care, far to many people are busy running away. It wouldn't be so bad if they concentrated on what direction they were running off to, it's that they insist on playing interference on behalf of the enemy that is so frustrating.

I think many, many people in the west will have a very uncomfortable awakening when the proverbial hits the fan, and guess who will squawk the loudest.

What was it Churchill said..." Virtuous motives, trammeled by inertia and timidity, are no match for armed and resolute wickedness". Old phoney Tony and friends should ponder awhile on that one - Nah, why bother, they wouldn't have a clue as to its meaning.

Sir Henry Morgan's google/blogger/blogspot account has been hacked; profile changed, password changed. This comment will come up as "jeremia" (no, I didn't do that).

I suspect my own machine's been hacked too.

Ignore future Sir Henry Morgan posts on blogger/blogspot - it's not me.

Can't get into Up Pompeii either.

This is the problem. People are far too concerned with their comfortable lives these days. OBL got that right, didn't he?

And add to that the emasculation which political correctness and multiculturalism have brought with them, and we have a fine old mess.

These people will have a very rude awakening when the enemy takes over! Then 'there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth'!
