Jews in Belgium called to join fight against radical Islam
THE INDEPENDENT: One of Europe's most successful far-right leaders has appealed to Jewish voters to join forces against radical Islam and back a party denounced as xenophobic.

Filip Dewinter, leader of Belgium's Vlaams Belang, described Antwerp's large Jewish community as natural partners "against the main enemy of the moment, the radical Islam, fundamentalism". Far-right party calls for Jews to join war on Islam by Stephen Castle

This is not surprising as it seems.
However, as Jews are being ostacized in regular parties the appeals may be more tempting.

There is a severe problem with a Jew obsession on the far left. Disproportionate criticism of Israel and midless word games with Jew/Zionist are par for the course in many circles.

As I was reading this post, Abraham Lincoln's great insight came to my mind: "If you once forfeit the confidence of your fellow citizens, you can never regain their respect and esteem. It is true that you may fool all of the people some of the time; you can even fool some of the people all of the time; but you can’t fool all of the people all of the time." This is precisely the situation which currently obtains relative to Islam's war on the West. Our stupid, cowardly, disingenuous politicians have thrown away the confidence we had in them by their absurd statements about how peaceful Islam is --- NOT TRUE; by telling us of the many contributions Muslims have made to us over the centuries and especially to our current world --- NOT TRUE (It is more than a little interesting that the Arab world did make some contributions BEFORE the rise of Islam; AFTER the rise of Islam they have made NO contributions of note to the advance of civilization.) I wish these politicians, just for once, would give one or two or three examples, but of course, they cannot for none exist. As Lincoln warned, they have thrown away their credibility and integrity and can never win them back. It is really too bad that by and large, decent people will not run for office; we only get the riff-raff nowadays. In light of this, it is uplifting that Filip Dewinter is standing up and unashamedly telling it like it is and apparently is willing to so something about it.
