Brits in favour of profiling
A MAJORITY of voters support moves by the Government to introduce security screening at airports that focuses on the passengers who pose the greatest risk. 55% support passenger profiling, poll indicates by Andrew Pierce

This is about common sense seriously. Why should Grandma Collins be patted down if she poses zero risk?

Are we to assume from this comment that you are against profiling? Or do you mean that the government won't have the spunk to carry it out?

But they haven't been, Quisabelle. Not at all. I have experienced problems in airports, JudahQ has too (see her recent post), as has Emily (see her recent post, too), and many, many others bedides. I remember a security guard getting quite shirty with me in the States when he was giving me a hard time, because I asked why he was being so 'thorough' with me when I was so obviousy not a Middle Easterner and so obviously not a Muslim. "We treat everybody the same", came the curt reply.
