Is Denmark now opting for dhimmitude, too?
Denmark is hosting a conference aimed at improving its ties with the Muslim world, after the uproar over cartoons satirising the Prophet Muhammad.

The talks are being attended by Muslim and Christian scholars and clerics, including a popular Egyptian preacher.

there is a risk it may expose differences between the Western and Muslim worlds

And this is exactly what I thik will happen.
Of course there will be genarel press releases: "important issues have been discussed", the conference enabled us to have free exchange of ideas.." etc.

Yes, there is that risk. But there is also a risk that we Westerners will give in too much to the demands of Muslims. Money talks, and petrodollars talk louder still!

Fallachi describes these one sided confrences with a Muslim Popov. Popov was the Russian who seemed to invent everything in the Soviet Union.

Just read in this morning's paper (Sunday) that Danish Imams are still demanding a official Danish Government cartoon apology or they'll continue to promote the boycotting of Danish goods in the Muslim world... And these b........s live in Denmark! No doubt they're unproductive and consume Danish taxpayer's money. Oh well, build them another mosque!

And an Italian Catholic Priest is calling for Islam to be taught in schools. Ah yes, things are simmering along quite nicely.

It occurred to me that one reason the November riots in France petered out was the weather deteriorated. Should be an interesting summer in the Northern hemisphere. Nothing like a hot fine day or a balmy evening for a bit of nastiness on the streets.

Such interfaith meetings result in dhimmitude. How I hate that word "interfaith"!

Yes, isn't that just about the most ridiculous thing you've read about recently?

Things are indeed simmering along very nicely at the moment. Our times are rather like the 1930's really, aren't they?

Good description there by Fallacci!

That Italian RC priest asking that Islam be taught in schools... I hope he was referring to the real Islam, not the taqiyya dished out by the apologists.

You can bet your bottom dollar that the version that will be taught will gloss over the real Islam, and make this 'religion' sound terribly attractive to Italy's school children. Isn't it SICKENING?

I would like to recommend that Mark's book be a required textbook for the course.

Thank you so much for your recommendation, Judah.

Our morning newspaper here did an absolutely disgraceful thing last Friday and published a full page feature explaining Islam - all the usual nonsense about it being a religion of peace and tolerance. I felt quite sick seeing that. I posted a critique on my website's Journal. If anyone feels like a good cry, they can visit there to see what this national newspaper is trying to get us to believe. You are welcome to add your own voice to my response to the **** that was published.

You've done a wonderful job of refuting the ridiculous arguments put forward by this newspaper. I thoroughly recommend you all to take a look @ Judah's Journal You'll enjoy it.
