Snow received the media award for his work "travelling extensively in the Muslim world, taking an in-depth look at events and developments".
Other winners included the solicitor for radical cleric Abu Hamza, Muddassar Arani, who took the citizenship award.
Foreign Secretary Jack Straw praised the contribution of Muslims to British society, in a speech at the ceremony.
'Celebrate success'
Mr Straw said: "British Muslims are where Britain and Islam intersect. Celebrating their success is the best way of showing that these two identities can and do thrive in the same place and in the same person. I would take their award and stuff it back where it came from.
In view of the fact that Jon Snow must have dhimmied his way to the award, I doubt that he is going to do that, somehow.
It's sickening, isn't it?
