Adherents of the 'Religion of Peace' show their compassionate side!

Image hosting by Photobucket
Several hundred people have protested in northern Afghanistan against a decision to dismiss a case against a man who converted to Christianity.

Abdul Rahman's case has been handed back to the attorney-general because of gaps in the evidence, an official said.

The decision to release Mr Rahman came amid mounting international criticism over the issue.

Mr Rahman, a Christian for 16 years, was charged with rejecting Islam and potentially faced the death penalty.

Afghanistan's legal system is built on Islamic Sharia law, and Mr Rahman could have faced execution if he had refused to renounce Christianity. Read it all here: Afghans protest against convert: Many Afghans are not happy with the decision to dismiss the case

GWB and Tony Blair are beginning to look rather stupid with their insistence on Islam being the 'religion of peace and love and tolerance'!

Indeed they are!

I'm not seeing this covered on the news. No surprise, of course, because the truth makes Islam "look bad."

No, Always, I doubt that you will see much reported about this on the news. The media is determined not to put the adherents of the ROP into a bad light.

Very Concerned:

Sad isn't it how they are such slaves to that dreaded doctrine.

Yes, it is. It's very sad. They put themselves in chains to no avail.

"The extremism is not the true voice of Islam........... ........(Muslims) want what we all want: to be ourselves free and for others to be free also; who regard tolerance as a virtue and respect for the faith of others as part of our own faith. ........

Well, isn't it a shame that Tony doesn't appear to know the true nature of Islam!!

It's a great shame! Shame on him for not knowing better; shame on the British for electing him to high office three times. It's also a shame for the British that they have to be led by someone so ignorant of the dangers facing us.

However, during his speech in Canberra yesterday he does acknowledge that: "We will not defeat this terror until we face up to the fact that its roots are deep, that it is not a passing spasm of anger, but a global ideology at war with us and the our way of life."

Glad to learn that he is making some progress in his learning about the dangers of Islam. But as it was only a matter of several days ago that he made those dreadful gaffes about Islam to the Foreign Policy Centre, he can't have learnt that much in that short a time.

BTW: It's great that Abdul Rahman is to be released. But a damn shame that he will have to leave his homeland to be able to live in safety. It shows how little the Americans and British have achieved in Afghanistan in terms of bringing true democracy to these people.

But I have said all along that this is not possible anyway, since democracy and Islam are totally immiscible.

It's funny you should say this, but I'm having great difficulty getting onto Blogger to do anything this morning, except post a comment. It just won't let me log in. I don't know what on earth is happening.

Glad you like the posts.
