What the Ayatollah said

Ayatollah Khomeini said in January 1980, in a speech to 120 Pakistani Army officers visiting him in the Iranian city of Qom:
We are at war against infidels. Take the message with you. 'I ask all Islamic nations, all Muslims, all Islamic armies, and all heads of Islamic states to join the Holy War. There are many enemies to be killed or destroyed. Jihad must triumph... Muslims have no alternative... to an armed Holy War against profane governments... Holy War means the conquest of all non-Muslim territories. It will be the duty of every able-bodied adult male to volunteer for this war of conquest, the final aim of which is to put Koranic law in power from one end of the earth to the other.'
The Ayatollah also said, tellingly, when describing the Islamic revolution in Iran: Islam is politics or it is nothing.

Very revealing: "Holy War means the conquest of all non-Muslim territories....to put Koranic law in power from one end of the earth to the other.'"
How much plainer can words be?

I also notice the words "all Muslims" and "no alternative."

Our leaders don't want to recognize the truth, maybe because the truth seems barbaric and anachronistic. But the reality is that Islam teaches that any nation which is not Islamic is condemned.

Islam has not been hijacked! Rather, its doctrines teach that all the world must subjugated to Islam.

Khomeini was not an aberration, much as many would like to believe so. Will the West recognize this before another catastrophic, jihadist attack?

Truth Teller:

Our leaders are blind. Many of their electorate are blind, too. So, as I said in an earlier post, it's a case of the 'blind leading the blind'.

The interesting question, though, is this: Why are our leaders blind? There's a good reason, and I suspect that oil money has something to do with it! So, in many ways, it's a question of 'there are none so blind as those who do not wish to see'!

As for your question: Will the West recognize the truth about Islam before another catastrophic attack ? I doubt it! I fear it's going to take many catastrophic attacks to change attitudes here! Recognition of the true nature of Islam is too costly for them in terms of lost earnings; so recognition will be delayed as long as possible.

Are our leaders really blind to Islamifiction or are they stubbornly clinging to their own brand of group think and personal world views that can't allow them to face reality or accept that past idealistic paradigms will not work against Islam. The brandname of their ideals is inconsequential: Chrisitian, Western, Leftist, Conservative, etc. All will be swept into the maw of Islam unless leaders and citizens strike back using effective tactics.

Civilized people believe that words and laws are sufficient to ward off any evil; they are mistaken. Laws and constitutions are feeble protection against the manifested disdain and contempt of Muslims even within the borders of the West.

Laws and ideals, constructs of the mind, will not hold back bullets, bombs, rioters, and agitators that demand more and more from us. The only effective way is to set up a line of tanks with the muzzles pointed outward.

In 1492 Isabella and Ferdinand of Spain committed an act that we used think was intolerant and gross discrimination: they expelled the Moors from Spain and instituted the Inquisition.

The Inquisition was based on inquiry. Some Muslims and other dhimmis used tried and true tactics of taqiyya and kitman to remain as secret agaents in Spain, a well-known fact to those making inquiries, the inquisitors. The now infamous tactics used to wrest the truth and expel the traitorous Moriscos, or Moors that pretended to convert to Christianity is today easily understood in the light of our present predicament.

Our contemporaries have neither spine nor the will to face the reality of our situation, nor will they take the necessary steps to ward off the invasion that they will not see and the invaders that are walking among us, cloaked in respectable cloth and holding up our laws and constitutions as buckles and shields against our defense or even our inquiry into their actions and intent.

No, our leaders will do nothing except appease, and appease, and appease until there is nothing left to give.

What a sorry state we find ourselves: the good, effective leaders are in the past -- Isabella and Ferdinand, where are you? We need you now!

Excellent post, Eleanor. That will be food for thought for many!

No, our leaders will do nothing except appease, and appease, and appease until there is nothing left to give.

This is what we have to fear. No-one has yet shown us any spine. Leaders today are far too worried about what the opinion polls tell them! That's what marked Margaret Thatcher out from the crowd: She didn't care a damn about them, didn't care a damn what they 'told her'. She just pressed ahead with the policies she knew the country needed. Therein lies the difference.

I have to correct Eleanor: in 1492 Isabella and Ferdinand expelled the Jews from Spain. It was Phillip III in the XVIIth century, the one who expelled the Muslims (then called "Moriscos") after his spies had intercepted some letters from the Turkish Sultan in which he affirmed that he was supplying men, money and arms to Spanish Muslims to take Spain back to Muslim control.
I think Spain had a lot of patience with Muslims (not with Jews): just read about Alpujarras, the behaviour of Muslims there was very revealing.
(Alpujarras is a region in the southeast of Spain near Granada, where the Moors just began a rebellion in middle XVIth century aided by the Muslims of northern Africa and that was finished off by Don Juan of Austria, the one who won Lepanto).
The rest is correct.

blueslord - I stand corrected. However, patience with Muslims can be a dangerous thing especially in a fast-paced world. Perhaps the Spanish monarchs were patient because the Muslims were so adept at taqiyya and kitman.

Welcome JMJ!

I'm strapped for time right now. I have to go out soon. But when I get the chance in the coming 24 hours or so, I shall certainly try and source it for you.

Glad you liked it.

JMJ:

I have researched these quotes and have added some more detail about when these were said by the Ayatollah. Please take a look at the blog again. I have incorporated this information into the blog. I hope and trust that this satisfies you.
