Jun 16, 2026 | A wave of anti-LGBTQ legislation is sweeping across many African nations as lawmakers push a ‘pro-family’ agenda. But there’s evidence that the policies are not entirely homegrown. Author and researcher Haley McEwen says US Christian groups have been pumping millions of dollars into efforts to influence LGBTQ and reproductive laws in Africa.

The American faux Christianity, manifested as it is in the ever so wrong ‘Christian right’, are so ignorant and backward that one can be only appalled and dismayed by them!

That Africa is so anti-LGBTQ+ rights comes as no surprise. It hasn’t traditionally been called “darkest Africa” for nothing! The reason for being called this: backward, unenlightened, benighted thinking. Now, Africa’s benightedness is being given a shot in the arm by the most ignorant and benighted of Americans.
