Divided They Stand? Liberal and Conservative States Spar over LGBT Laws, Climate Change

Donald Trump has been promising to bring the nation together since his 2016 presidential campaign. However the divisions appear to have deepened since last year’s election, pitting not only political rivals, but even US states against each other. RT’s Caleb Maupin has more.

The world is full of unnecessary suffering and deaths. Let us at least try to understand each other better and minimise the suffering and tragic deaths. One death is one death too many! Can’t we do better than this? / Die Welt ist voller unnötigem Leid und Tod. Versuchen wir wenigstens, einander besser zu verstehen und das Leid und die tragischen Todesfälle zu minimieren. Ein Tod ist ein Tod zu viel! Können wir es nicht besser machen? / Le monde est rempli de souffrances et de morts inutiles. Essayons au moins de mieux nous comprendre et de minimiser les souffrances et les morts tragiques. Un décès est un décès de trop ! Ne pouvons-nous pas faire mieux que cela ? – © Mark Alexander
