THE SUN: HATE preacher Anjem Choudary was caught on camera ranting at a MUSLIM anti-terror cop at a rally.
The extremist and his henchmen accuse the uniformed Asian officer of “spying” on his fellow Muslims. They also call him a liar and accuse him of intimidation.
A video of the clash — insultingly entitled “Munafiq police officer exposed” — has been posted online. In Arabic a munafiq is a religious hypocrite. The hostile exchanges begin as someone asks the unidentified officer — one of three counter-terrorism cops called to the meeting in a Birmingham hall — his name.
After the policeman indicates his collar number, he is asked the question again, before another voice asks: “Are you a Muslim?”
The officer says he is not there to discuss religion and was called by the hall’s owner. A voice then says: “You’re lying, you’re lying.”
As the exchanges continue the officer confirms he is a Muslim — and is branded a “mushrik” or plotter against Islam.

DAILY EXPRESS: A RACE hate preacher who praised the July 7 London suicide bombers has been freed from jail – after serving barely 12 months of a four-and-a-half year sentence.
Abu Izzadeen, 33, was back on the streets yesterday after being jailed for inciting UK Muslims to kill British troops in Iraq and Afghanistan.
The firebrand cleric praised suicide bombers, tried to justify the beheading of British hostage Ken Bigley in Iraq, and told followers: “The Americans and British only understand one language. It’s the language of blood.”
Last night Tory MP Patrick Mercer condemned Britain’s soft-bellied justice and warned: “This man will be back on the streets shortly, preaching hate, subverting young minds and trying to inspire people to violence and suicide.”
Izzadeen – born Trevor Brooks in Jamaica – has nine children and will rake in around £800 a month in benefits.
He posed outside his east London home yesterday but declined to answer questions, saying only: “I am in a rush, I have got an appointment.”

DAILY MAIL: Abu Izzadeen, an outspoken Muslim activist who heckled former Home Secretary John Reid, was today jailed for four and a half years for terror-related offences.
He and fellow British-born Muslim convert Simon Keeler were both handed the same jail term after they were found guilty of fundraising for, and inciting, terrorism.

DAILY EXPRESS: A BRITISH preacher told hundreds of young Muslims it was their duty to fight UK troops in Iraq, a court heard yesterday.
Trevor Brooks urged them to help buy guns and bombs for insurgents there, instead of giving cash to charity.
The cleric, also known as Abu Izzadeen and Omar Brooks, said the Black Watch regiment was in Fallujah to rape and kill women and children, Kingston Crown Court in south-west London heard.
He told the crowd at Regent’s Park mosque in central London to join the insurgency in Iraq. He said they must choose between the camp of Allah, whose “prince” was Osama Bin Laden, or Satan’s camp led by George Bush and Tony Blair.
