I should like to remind my visitors that the strong viewpoints expressed in this video are Frank Schaeffer’s and Frank Shaeffer’s alone. Frank Schaeffer’s views are very strong and sometimes exceedingly controversial. I agree with many of his views, but not all. His views on Queen Elizabeth II, for example, whom I greatly admired, are not views that I share. Not at all! Personally, I know far too little about the goings on behind this to be able to comment. I would say this, however, as well as being Queen, Queen Elizabeth was a mother. Mothers are protective of their children by nature. It would be very odd if they weren’t. I therefore feel that Frank Schaeffer should cut the late queen some slack on this. Moreover, Queen Elizabeth had the institution of monarchy itself to protect. That is something which an American might find difficult to comprehend.
