Speaking to Channel 4 News, Rasmussen has dismissed claims that Denmark has failed to defend Greenland, arguing that the United States already has the right to deploy troops and bases there under a long-standing defence agreement - one it has chosen not to fully use. He warns that Trump’s rhetoric risks eroding the transatlantic relationship and could destabilise the global order.
America is no longer really the leader of the free world. To start with, America is itself no longer free: on the contrary, it is well on its way to autocracy; so how can it be the leader of the free world? Secondly, the free world cannot be led by such a mentally imbalanced man as Trump. The man clearly has mental health issues.
