Under no circumstances should Putin be given the opportunity to annex Ukrainian territory. Putin is the aggressor, so he should be punished for his crimes, not be allowed to profit from them.
If Putin gets the sense that he has gained from his invasion, in a short time, he will be invading another country. That man will stop at nothing.
I said at the very start that he should be stopped, but the international community was lacking the courage to do anything meaningful about his illegal invasion.
