MARK ALEXANDER: The counter I placed up on this blog today has not worked. According to Google, as I write this, my visitors have climbed to 6178894, but for some inexplicable reason, this counter is not recording the visits. For this reason, I have decided to remove the counter until such time that I can find a different solution. There is little point in my keeping a ‘frozen’ visitor counter up on this blog.
This is disappointing, of course.
