Canadian Doctor Exposes US Healthcare Crisis

For how much longer can American governments remain deaf to the needs of the people? For how much longer can American governments afford NOT to give free universal healthcare to its citizens? This Canadian doctor tells Americans some home truths. After all, healthcare is a human right.
Trump’s cruelty to America’s poor, Trump’s taking away Medicaid SNAP (food stamps) for millions of hard-done-by Americans might yet come back to bite all those Republicans so sorely lacking in compassion and mercy. Trump’s big, ugly bill, the bill robbing from the poor to further enrich the already über-rich might, in the long-run, hasten the clamour for America to become civilised just as other Western nations are, and it might well be forced to give all Americans access to free healthcare. If that happens, America will hopefully start to align itself with other, more caring Western nations. It will start to treats its less privileged citizens as people rather than as animals. – © Mark Alexander
