Trump will go down in history as the worst US president ever. He will also go down in history as America's most foolish, most unstable president ever. And then there's his ridiculous embrace of autocrats and enemies.
Trump and Elon Musk are hollowing out America's democratic state and democratic institutions. They are doing this for one simple reason: to replace democracy with dictatorship. Good, sensible, nation-loving Americans need to act against this madness as a matter of URGENCY. Once the institutions have been vandalized, there'll be no going back. A state that is destroyed is a state that will have to be reborn. Just look at what happened to Germany when the Weimar Republic was destroyed. What Trump is doing today is what Hitler did to Germany in the Thirties. And the speed with which Trump is dismantling the state is pretty similar as well. It is equally fast. The re-election of Donald Trump has ushered in dark times for America and Americans. Praying for better times is not enough.
