Bernie Sanders is right, of course. Capitalism is a good system, but it needs regulating. American capitalism is OBSCENE! In my opinion, it is also DOOMED TO EVENTUAL FAILURE. No political system can survive forever when it treats the majority of its citizens so shabbily, yet treats the privileged few so well. How can it be right for millions of Americans to be HOMELESS when a select few can live in the lap of luxury?
Obscene American capitalism is at total variance with Americans’ insistence on invoking God all the time — “In God We Trust” — and promoting Christianity. Which version of Christianity is this, pray tell? God must be very ANGRY with Americans for throwing His children out onto the streets to sleep rough and freeze to death in winter, when the superrich can live in mansions, own superyachts, and fly around the world in their own private jets.
