Aug 8, 2024 | Thousands of people have taken part in anti-racism protests across the UK. This comes after days of far-right rioting fuelled by outrage over the stabbing to death of three children and subsequent disinformation that falsely named an asylum seeker as the perpetrator. The riots saw mosques and hotels housing asylum seekers attacked, leaving minority communities on edge. DW's Rosie Birchard sent this report from Liverpool.
