Grown men’s propensity to believe myth and fable never ceases to astound me! That children believe in fairy stories is understandable, even healthy; but we should all grow up in time and leave myth and fable behind us. Ironically, as the Bible says: “When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things. …” (1.
