The US Midterms, Brexit and the US-UK Special Relationship

The present Democratic administration is well-disposed to the EU and unenthusiastic about Brexit. But no future Republican administration is likely to support the UK in any controversy with the EU either. The hopes pinned by many supporters of Brexit in the American connection have been and will be disappointed.
