THE JORDAN TIMES: AMMAN - The multilateral Danish-Dutch boycott campaign is moving ahead with the addition of a major brand, the removal of others and an ongoing lawsuit, while Jordanian importers still suffer losses.
Launched in late February to protest against the republication of disturbing cartoons of the Prophet Mohammad, “The Messenger of Allah Unites Us” campaign was relaunched in mid-June to add products from the Netherlands after Dutch MP Geert Wilders posted an anti-Islam film on the Internet.
The ultimate goal, according to campaign spokesperson Zakaria Sheikh, is to enact a universal law that prohibits the defamation of any prophet or religion, similar to the international legislation banning anti-Semitism.

The economic screws keep tightening.
As we watch horrified at the continued and accelerating transfer of wealth to the Middle East, Islamic nations will be able to exert more and more control over our economy -- until we have no choice but to submit.

How true, Always! Westerners should take some lessons from them. But that will be difficult for Westerners, because most Westerners no longer know what they believe in. By contrast, Muslims know exactly what they believe in: Muhammad and his message!
Westerners, and governments too, have forgotten one very, very important thing: He who pays the piper calls the tune. How true this old saying is! Yet our leaders are getting themselves deeper and deeper into the quicksands through sheer greed, and consumers are getting themselves deeper into the same quicksands through their inability to moderate their demand for black gold.
One of these days, it will be too late!
