"We are being challenged by Islam these years. Globally as well as locally. There is something impressive about people for whom religion imbues their existence, from dusk to dawn, from cradle to grave. There are also Christians who feel this way.Photo care of Google Images
There is something endearing about people who give themselves up completely to their faith. But there is likewise something frightening about such a totality, which also is a feature of Islam.
A counterbalance has to be found, and one has to, at times, run the risk of having unflattering labels placed on you. For there are some things for which one should display no tolerance. And when we are tolerant, we must know whether it is because of convenience or conviction.
We should not be content with living next to each other. We should rather live together." - Queen Margrethe II of Denmark

How encouraging and uplifting to hear a head of state speak the clear, unvarnished truth. This woman is not only intelligent, she has courage. She has not been contaminated by political correctness which values truth over making everyone feel good no matter how rabid and wacky they may be.
With a Queen like that I could become pro-monarchist! Perhaps she could talk some sense into Prince Charles.
Refreshing words to hear from Her Majesty! Yee-hah!!
Prince Charles might get an education if and when his son gets taken in Iraq. I'm worried about all that.
Ah....the pragmatism/common sense of the Scandinavians, as it used to be! Sad to say, much of Scandinavia has been infected with the p/c madness that will lead to their downfall-----unless they wake up now!!
Great to read your comments. Highest Infidelity, I doubt very much that the Prince would be allowed to be there without some pretty good protection. After all, the royal family cannot afford to lose an heir to the throne.
Jason, yes the Queen of Denmark is pretty impressive, isn't she? As the link to her profile indicates, she is the thinking man's monarch.
As for Denmark being infected with pc madness, which part of Europe isn't? Or the States for that matter?
