Ahmadinejad calls for ties to be strengthened with Iranian expats

President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad called on all government executive bodies to make efforts to strengthen ties with Iranian expatriates in foreign countries.

According to Presidential Office Media Department report, the president added Iranian expatriates should introduce Iran's rich civilization and honorable culture to the world.

Underscoring the importance of introducing Iran's culture, history, and plentiful capacities via films and educational and tourist networks, the president pointed out the ground should be provided for transferring national culture, teaching Farsi, maintaining and strengthening Iranian identity to the youth and teenagers living abroad and their presence in Iran should be facilitated.

He said defending rights of Iranians living abroad is necessary adding the related organizations should act to coordinate Iranian expatriates' organizations. President underlines strengthening ties with Iranian expatriates
