A "terror watchlist" in the thousands!
THE TIMES: MI5 and the police are monitoring thousands of Muslims suspected of being terrorists or their supporters, Britain’s most senior terrorist investigator disclosed yesterday.

Counter-terrorism experts are also concerned that the threat is no longer only being imported from abroad, as Britain becomes a breeding and training ground for the extremists. Thousands of Muslim suspects on the terror watchlist by Stewart Tendler

I want to point out what is missing in the broader discussion
of Immigration. The far left seems to think that immigration is a God given right. However, it is a granted status predicated on good behavior.

1 Get a Job
2 Learn the Language
3 Stay out of the criminal justice system.
4 Leave your old world customs at our shores. You may not beat your wife here. You may not kill your daughter if you think she is a slut. Leave your ethnocentric and cultural bigotries wherever you cam from.

No doubt the far left will blame these arrests on the Jews.

Well stated, Beakerkin! I agree with you 100%.

Beak is absolutely right! As for Beak's item "2", we had occasion to call in to Camden Library while in London. No less than (at my guess) 30% of the printed matter was Bengali.

Excuse me, but since when is learning English such a disadvantage?! And why are ratepayers' monies being wasted on such, things? If they want their own libraries - let them pay for them.

No doubt the far left will blame these arrests on the Jews.

Not just the far left. There are plenty of bloody antisemites on the right, and not just the far right either. Just check out the voting and speech records of British MPs. It's very revealing. I think it behoves us to inform ourselves as much as we can and not assume simplistically that Conservative = pro Israel, pro-semitic, anti-terrorist, anti-fascist, enlightened NOR Left = antisemite, pro-islam, multi-cultural etc. Though of course there is a general tendency.

I think - having dug around and found what people's actual opinions are - that we could fall into a trap here. The terms "Left" and "Right" - I predict - will become redundant in the struggles ahead.

There are too many wobblers and softies in the British Tory Party, starting with the Sixth-Former they have elected as their leader.

As for Noo Labour...

Well stated, Rockmother!

In this ideological struggle, in our fight against Islam, it really isn't very helpful to make too much of a distinction between 'right' and 'left'. We are in a struggle for our very survival. Both those on the 'right' and those on the 'left' stand to lose all.

There are too many wobblers and softies in the British Tory Party, starting with the Sixth-Former they have elected as their leader.

Again, well said! The leader of the Conservative Party is indeed like an overgrown schoolboy, or "Sixth-Former", as you so colourfully call him. We can't expect much from him in the coming years. He's a lightweight, as so many politicians are these days, both on the 'right' and on the 'left'.

It is particularly disappointing to observe the downhill slide of the Conservative Party. In years gone by, we, the British, could always vote in the Conservatives to restore sanity to politics. It seems that those days are well and truly over.

Me too.

I really don't get why muslims are allowed to force or pressure their kids to wear hijab (meaning hidden) but we are not allowed to act unIslamic in islamic countries?

It's really worth checking out roya's blog - especially on the meme post about the book that changed her life!

Reverting a minute to the (probably forgotten) story about the two "British" muslim students whose suspicious behaviour caused a plane-load of Brits to de-plane until they were checked out (dead right in my view!), it emerges that one of them has a criminal record as long as your arm. It seems more than likely that these two shit-for-brains staged the whole thing for "fun and profit". Something I suspected from the beginning.

Yes, it's crazy, isn't it?

It wouldn't be so bad if David Cameron only looked like an overgrown school boy. Unfortunately he doesn't appear to be as informed or intelligent as a eight-year-old school boy. What a pathetic lightweight!

Beakerkin's 4 points on immigration are right on. The USA would do well to follow those points as well.
