Ten reasons why we shall be defeated, by David Selbourne

David Selbourne, author of The Losing Battle with Islam writes a chilling prognosis of why the West will be defeated in this war with Islam.
THE SUNDAY TIMES: LET US SUPPOSE, for the sake of argument, that the war declared by al-Qaeda and other Islamists is under way. Let us further suppose that thousands of “terrorist” attacks carried out in Islam’s name during the past decades form part of this war; and that conflicts that have spread to 50 countries and more, taking the lives of millions — including in inter-Muslim blood-shedding — are the outcome of what Osama bin Laden has called “conducting jihad for the sake of Allah”.

If such war is under way, there are ten good reasons why, as things stand, Islam will not be defeated in it. Can the West defeat the Islamist threat? Here are ten reasons why not by David Selbourne

Selbourne has written an excellent article. I think that I'll read it thoroughly and post on it--not immediately, but in the near future.

Always:

It really is an excellent article. One that should be read by all our leaders, American and European!

Mark - I read Selbourne's chlling article with a sad foreboding that his analysis is true unless our clueless, stupid, and incompetent leaders make an abrupt change.

Some of us prefer to go down fighting rather than to give up and go over to the dark side.

I agree. But how do we get them to change their ridiculous, weak, appeasing course?

Some of us prefer to go down fighting rather than to give up and go over to the dark side.

Here! Here!

They are only tough in a gang.
That is their strength.
On their own they are cowards.
They make useless soldiers.
I don't think we should be so negative.
There are some incredibly simple ways in which these people are vulnerable and weak.
When war is afoot, the enemies weaknesses are of paramount importance.
At the moment, our real enemy is the "nanny-State" that panders and grovels to every bloodsucker that spouts religious piffle about paradise and their "special" religion.
When all this comes to an abrupt end, they will be unable to cope with life without the human-rights Act.
All mouth and no trousers. Only our gutless present pol;iticians stand between them and starvation.
Already they have to source their meat from far-flung places, and these supply lines are as vulnerable as our oil-supplies.

In the seige of Leningrad, the population survived, but the cats and dogs did not, if you catch my drift. So where are the halal rats when you need them?
