"Islamic Terror"

With thanks to my friend, Always On Watch, for bringing this excellent article to my attention:
After the terrorist outrages of July 7, 2005, most Londoners have continued to travel by bus, train and Underground. They are more vigilant, but few seem to experience anxiety about a repeat attack during their journey. That is remarkable because objectively the chances of another massacre must be higher than a year ago.

Last year the bombs were the first shock. The second was to discover that the terrorists were suicide bombers and British. We could have coped with the outrage more easily had the murderers been foreigners, raised in squalor, brainwashed under a theocratic dictatorship and shipped here to massacre people for whom they had no kindred feelings.

It is more plausible that we could defend the country against an exterior threat than defeat one that comes from within. We can hope to monitor comings and goings at our airports and to keep tabs on people who stand out because they are visitors. But the task is almost hopeless if the perpetrators live among us. If four young men who had enjoyed the advantages of life in Britain decide to kill themselves and as many others as possible, then why should there not be 400 or 4,000 more? No offence, imam, but we must call it Islamic terror by Michael Portillo

The problem with Islam is its inflexibility. The entire notion of a black and white approach to life makes this hardly surprising. There is no toleration for dissent and criminal shakedowns of unbelievers is considered the divine right of Muslims.

Muslims may come to the USa or UK but they do not seek to be of it. Jews, Hindus and others readily adapt and attempt to get along with others. They seek to be a part of the culture and may attend a different church or temple or eat different foods.

The sad but true specter of many Muslims is the desire to dominate and sense of superiority and alienation from the dominant culture. This sense of entitlement is reinforced by the Jiyzah system.
It is their divine right to extact payments from unbelievers but we call it extortion.

These immigrants might under normal circumstances have learned to live with and love the UK. However there is a Marxist far left playing the role of enabler.
Good Muslim 1400 years of colonialism replette with fake indigenous people lets make you cause celebre. We will rationalize every absurd behavior and blame the Joooos er zionists, America, Capitalism and Julio Inglesas for all you aberant behaviors. Yes lets blame America and the Jews for the Crusades. Oh wait the Jews were often killed by the Crusades and America didn't even exist. Lets
blame America for slavery and mistreatment of indigenous people. Oooops Islamo slavery lasted longer and took more Blacks. Ooops those indigenous people were Jews, Christians and others.

"Jihad" means struggle. And so does Mein Kampf.

Mein Kampf, ah hah! "My struggle'! Isn't it strange that the civilized world should be facing this 'struggle' yet again; and only sixty or so years after the struggle it faced before?

Mark,
I got that little gem about jihad and Mein Kampt from the movie Islam: What the West Needs to Know. I can't believe that I hadn't noticed the parallel on my own. In the film, Walid Shoebat, who used to be a PLO terrorist but converted to Christianity and is very outspoken about Islam, mentioned the parallel. His site is here.
